What is wrong with children having a little fun in life? I am surprised we have TV since everything that's on TV is likely to offend someone.

If my Adventist relatives caught someone painting Easter eggs in the old days, there would have been more than objecting going on.

But if you don't keep church and state separate, there will be nothing in place to protect you when some Adventist/Muslim gets elected.

Exactly. Many people celebrate Easter, Halloween, and Christmas as social holidays. An Easter Egg hunt is an American tradition, not a religious ritual. Thats why the flyers are allowed at school. Now if the flyers said "Come hunt Easter Eggs and worship Jesus" or "Come celebrate the resurrection with an egg hunt" that would be different.

Blame Canada because they let in way too many Muslims. Now Canada is ran by Muslims. They are the sheeple that let them walk all over their country. Now Canadians are helping the Muslims invade the USA.

That is irrelevant. It is a custom and part of the culture of the USA.

It is my one bug bear. Immigrants are welcome but they must remember they have chosen to move to another culture and learn to tolerate the bits they don't like. Western countries allow immigrants to continue their religious beliefs and cultures they must be just as tolerant regarding their adopted countries customs.

I just went through the facebook page of my sister-in-law from Peterborough. I actually haven't met her but she seems like a normal, warm hearted person. Every week she posts a witty poster/picture about how Brits are 2nd class citizens. The latest one was really very clever.

I was trying to find the stuff she was posting furiously about the wearing the poppy and Armistice Day. I can't find it now (she posts a lot and its long gone) I remember being absolutely appalled on the Brits behalf. Something about complaints and you shouldn't wear them???
