Quoting: Anonymous Coward 37375680 Good gawd retard! Use YouTube. It would take me a day to build a quality tower garden. Unless the unit is worth less than a thousand bucks, it's more feasible for me to buy one as my time is worth more than that. I bought two and use them to grow strawberries and marijuana. |

I know Growlife and Terratech have a lot to offer in this arena.. T For Texas, T For Tennessee! I was at a Farmers Market and a woman had one set up next to the stand where I usually buy tomatoes and other veggies. It was gorgeous and had such a variety of things growing and not just growing but growing well and beautiful. For me it makes sense because it can be set up in a small space. You can grow what you want and actually use and they grow faster and better in it. I was completely impressed and even though I spent about 700 total because I upgraded to a taller tower, bought the dolly with wheels and some extra supplies that will easily be made up in the cost of produce. I spend at least 300 a month on organic locally grown produce. I also thought it was absolutely adorable and could see how you could take a bowl and a pair of scissors out there and cut yourself a delish fresh salad. I've seen them online and in brochures but this is the first one I have seen all planted up and growing. I didn't even think twice. The brand is tower garden. It should arrive by Thursday and I am beyond excited :) |

I think in total the cost would of been around $500. This is just a little more and it is no fuss...and just seems really neat. |

Take a small scanner into someone's home where they want to set up a unique growing system, scan the layout and then come up with a unique design for their needs and print out the components. ![]() |

The average cost for electric is 7 dollars a year. I will look into solar alternative for energy that is a great idea. I would love to do that :) Thanks and I had not even thought of that yet... Small steps...lol! I can't seem myself fish farming yet. But you never know and it does sound smart. |

Please say you are not pulling my leg cuz that would just be great :) I would be interested in something like that. I have to admit I bought mine on total "that is soooo cool" impulse. But most of my favorite things I have even bought have been bought like that. At least I didn't come home today with another pair of shoes...lol! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24796156 Welcome to the land of the free. Funny you mention that cuz I was just trying to tell a friend at lunch about the raid on the 91 year old man for his "artifacts". Even showed her the video from the helicopter and she totally would not even give it any credibility saying it was a drug raid or something and the government would never do anything like that. I wonder if they will ever start taxing us on self/home produced food...would they trust us to report our own production reports or would they monitor our gardens by drones and video equipment. Who knows anymore. The only think you can really believe is to expect the unexpected. That is the kind of thinking I have come to think. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 54681128 How big is it? I don't have a photo but you can google it....It is by garden tower. I bought the standard set up with 2 extra tiers to make it taller. I would say it is about 7 feet tall when sitting in the dolly with wheels. I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes! |

Apart from a sign here and a there, saying >> this way, or that way <<< so I can grow things that people pay good money for, if you get me drift. Thing is, most of the time they just fund my project anyway, plus I get to keep my shit too! I got a good system going ![]() |

Growing and keeping your own garden is a tradition in uk. Half population above 50 keep a garden. As well as younger generation. Gardening is a uk pass time. |
