You are correct on trees. The OP literally went in way over his head and I suppose this should prove to him that he isn't where he should be when it comes to God and His Word. As for the animals thing, they were just understood. Think of Dr. Dolittle. That's what Adam and Eve were, until sin took dominion and what a great thing too, because this severed the connection between man and animal (and installed their instincts for survival) which is why we cannot understand them, thus proving that we aren't of the animal kingdom as many liars will tell us. All animals can communicate with each other, yet supposedly us "animals aka monkeys" cannot.
