The parable of the weeds.
The Parable of the Weeds

24Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27“The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28“ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

29“ ‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ ”

So, what did the enemy actually do?

Did he try to sufficate the wheat with the weeds? Or did he just want to give the weeds the same opportunity as the wheat? What was it the enemy did? What was his intention? Is the enemy just plain stupid or does he try to be irritating?

The man who sows the good seed doesn't seem to be bothered by what the enemy did, or is he? He does not undo what he did, he lets the wheat grow. In the end, he will reap what he sow.

What gain will the enemy have?

We can't deny the man who sowed became a victim of the enemy. The enemy tried to change the outcome of the mans plans.

In the end, the sower will get what he desired.

Does this parable mean some things happen beyond our control? Some things just are the way they are and we cannot change them, though we should not become bothered by it?

Sometimes you need to stay true to your convictions.

Maybe the weeds represent resistance.

Always end what you started. Although there is resistance, you have the capability to succeed. You only fell victim to your enemy if you quit your plans.

Interesting. It has been said that this parable is describing the infiltration of the human race(represented by the "good seed") by the fallen angels/reptilians(represented by the "weeds"). The man who sows the good seed could be interpreted as representing "God", while the enemy that secretly plants weeds along with the wheat could represent the "Devil/Satan". During the great "Judgement", the weeds(evil ones) will be separated from the wheat(God's people).

Re: The parable of the weeds.
EveHelenMarySOPHIA, That is also my understanding. The wheat represents Gods people (As above) and the weeds represent Satan's people (So below). One of the World Trade Center buildings represents Gods race of people (As above) 23(DNA). and the other World Trade Center building represents Satan's people (So below) 23(DNA). Or 2 stands of DNA 23 + 23=46 The new race. George Bush read psalm 23 after 9/11 and Barack Obama read psalm 46 after the new tower was built. The New World (New World Order) Freedom tower represents the new Race of people. Fallen Angels (Reptilians) mated with humans to create this new race. You can see this in the architecture of the New Tower. 2 sides point up and 2 sides point down. The 2 towers were destroyed to create 1 (One new race). The rapture represents the harvesting of Gods people. The memorial pools where the 2 buildings stood represent the bottomless pit of Hell. Which is about to be opened.

By definition a parable has a hidden meaning or moral to be revealed.

What is the hidden meaning in this so-called parable ?

That seems obvious, the general ideas you posted anyhow.

Jesus illustrates how it is with the kingdom of God. I don't really get it myself. That's why I asked.

But that also seems obvious.

Consider that the hidden meaning to the story is that the tares/weeds were beneficial to the bread/wheat...basically the weeds helped the bread....

I just stated it.

The tares were beneficial to the wheat, and the enemy did a good thing by planting them.

What other possible hidden meaning could there be to the story ?

The wheat are the Adamite/Israelite nations that are unmixed that later became Europe, the tares are the hybridized races created by the nephilim.

Re: The parable of the weeds.
The real problem with this parable is that wheat and weeds will not grow togethe, the weeds will smothef the wheat and at best will significantly decrease yield, especially is a desert climate.

Probably not the best ofnthe parables.

Still accepting the fallacy that god plays favorites and is limited to group benefits and group judgments?
If god only made the hebrews and only taught them right from wrong ( although those lessons and rules were broken and ignored over and over and time and again by them in the mostnfundamental ways) who is it that made the gentile, and why?

Not to be contrary, but you have placed your finger on why it is an excellent parable.

The fact that the wheat must strive to survive among the weeds and that the weeds will actively strangle some of the wheat is important.

To extrapolate, Gods people on earth live among a world of evil people who do and promote evil things. There will be those who proclaim an allegiance to God through His Son and then subsequently fall away, overtaken by the evil that surrounds us all.

We are told to take up our cross and "crucify" the flesh, which desires to do that which the world does. Those who fail to do so will be unable to withstand until the end.

Only those people who strive each and every day to remain sanctified, or set-apart from the world and it's evils will inherit the Kingdom.
