The place where the majority of the shootings have happened is a placed called the Grandview Triangle. This is where 3 major highways converge and is always always always congested with traffic.

The news here states that they believe it is car to car, not anyone standing on the side of the road hidden in bushes..

I lived in CHICAGO for 15 yrs and I think Kansas City is a total dump. Chicago is the murder capital of the US and yet I never had anything that bad happen in Chicago as in KC. I think with Chicago, the gangs all just go after each other but in KC the crime is spread throughout the city.

I've only been to Kansas City twice and it was twice too many. Once, I saw someone shot on the street driving in a normal neighborhood, and the other time I was CAR JACKED at a gas station on a Sunday morning at 11am by five black guys. Of course, because I was traveling there for work I didn't have a weapon on me, but I did have a 20 million volt taser. It turned into a shitshow where I tasered the guy who had the gun pointed at me, but then the other guy shot out the window and then they took my car with all my stuff in it.

The cops acted like it wasn't a big deal. Even Chicago cops would have been more proactive, although they probably would have been more proactive so they would have an excuse to find chase them in my vehicle and get into a gun fight lol because Chicago cops are freaking crazy, and basically if you're white they'll leave you alone and they'll find any excuse to go after dark-skinned people, justified or not.

Although scary, I'm pretty sure this is nothing like the dc snipers.. For one thing, they didn't miss their mark, 10 murdered and 3 critically injured, vs. 13 cars hit, including 3 people with non-life threatening gun shot wounds... Sooooo not the same thing. People in DC lived in panic for their lives, not so much here.

If it is car to car they must be using a silencer. I mean youd hear if someone next or behind you shoots at you.

Possibly, I'm curious as to what caliber they're using. Although suppressed, you'll still hear the supersonic crack of the bullet. If using a subsonic round, nobody would know unless there was a visual of the shooter.

Most of the St. Louis area gangs migrated West under pressure from gang enforcement teams several years ago and landed in KC. Those gang leaders that were arrested at the time are getting out of jail and our crime has skyrocketed.

A long time friend and Police Officer in the suburbs where I live told my wife we need to move as soon as we can. It's only going to get worse as KC runs out the gang bangers.

Just hood rats. I live in south KC but north of 470 there is a huge problem with black gangs that are extremely racist against anyone who is not black. The two black victims were probably anomaly's or unrelated.

It is probably the same people with different cars. 97% of the criminals in kc now go and steal a car before using it for a crime then ditch it. Hence all the local news story's about people abandoning their vehicle and fleeing on foot from the scenes of random traffic accidents.

If your wondering why people dont know they are getting shot at its because these monkeys are getting smarter. They troll the highways and wait till they are behind someone and no one close behind them. Then right before a exit into the ghetto, they fall back 30-40 feet from the car, fire a shot out the window while taking the exit.

Driving down the highway at 65-75mph and you have a open window(wind noise), a radio on, or loud highway noise inside the interior, you would probably not even hear the sound. You would hear what sounds like a rock hitting your car.

Over the years there has been several car-to-car shootouts on roads/highways here in kc, black on black. They always make a big deal of it on fox4kc and 41act

Sounds less like a DC sniper shooting and more like a road rage type shooting. Suspect most likely from the perfect voter group from the vague tap dancing like police report.

They are saying the shots are being fired from inside of a car because they can't locate them on the fancy new gunshot technology that KCPD launched in 2012.
