This is a true story that happened recently to someone we know personally.

The gentleman in question drove his nice car to Hopkins Cleveland International Airport and left it there when he took a short trip to Florida.

While in Florida the Cleveland Police called him with bad news.

While doing a drug sniffing search around cars in the Airport parking lot the drug sniffing dogs freaked out at his car.

This gave the Police enough reason to break a window and let the dogs into the car to see what they might find.

The dogs continued to freak out and ripped up the interior.

No drugs were found.

As a last thought the cops lifted the hood where they found a raccoon who jumped out.

Apparently the raccoon had been hiding out on the engine to keep warm during this awful winter.

The cops met the gentleman at the Airport when he returned and offered to drive him home. They were very apologetic, I don't think they wanted this going public.

But, what the heck, this is the strangest thing I ever heard. I didn't realize they had dogs sniffing the cars at the Airport-- some people might need to know this.

I was surprised they broke the window to get in and let the dogs destroy the car.

Anyways thought it was worth sharing.
