Iran nuclear chief: Tehran entitled to enrich uranium at 90% weapons-grade level

"Firstly, we believe that we are entitled to any right that any NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) and (International Atomic Energy) Agency member has, which means that enrichment (of uranium) from 1% to 90% is our right," Salehi said in a televised interview on Sunday.

He said that Iran has accepted to limit its enrichment program to the level of 5% only in a voluntary move based on the Geneva deal inked between Tehran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, Britain and France plus Germany) sealed in November.

Half agree. No, they can't do anything, but it's not from a lack of balls. It's because it wouldn't work. The program cannot be bombed out of existence (only set back) and Israel doesn't have the numbers to invade anyone. So, for the next several years we will see more of the same: threats, occasional missle, cyber attacks, etc. I'd add too that Israel does nothing but make their own life miserable by obsessing on catastrophe. Yes, because of history they feel scorned and hated, but at the same time they are shockingly self-righteous. They will never see peace, because their notion of peace is complete and absolute security. By decree, they see no place for others except beneath them. In short, Israel is a neurotic mess, and the U.S. (and the rest of the world) is wise to keep them at arm's length.

They have the legal right to do whatever everyone else does who has signed the NPT.

The only nuke holder in the middle east is Israel and they have REFUSED to sign the NPT because they are a rogue and illegal acting bunch of yahoos.

Iran is certainly allowed nuclear power plants and Israel can go piss on themselves as they attempt to start WW3.
