Demonic Spirits Recognize Jesus (4:33-34, 41a)

While Jesus is teaching, the demonic spirit in a man present in the synagogue yells out. The man can't contain it. "Ha! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are -- the Holy One of God!" (4:33-34).
