This is my own theory on a possible "false rapture" event.

All of this panic and warning over the tetrad lunar eclipse and the coming solar eclipses, plus we even have some major main stream christians throwing out warnings (John Hagee) [link to www.jhm.org]

Plus we have been seeing and hearing a lot more about alien disclosure lately from Eisenhower's granddaughter to the vatican (whether the claims are true or not, you can decide)

But here is my theory: What if our society has been infiltrated by either another species (be it aliens or otherwise) or just by heavily mind-controlled individuals? And what if they are planning an invasion complete with a landing of a christ-like figure in Israel?

But many people are looking for the "rapture" first right?

So, what if the individuals that have infiltrated our society are the ones who "disappear" in the "rapture"? Complete with the pandemonium shone in the Left Behind series? (this could be initiated with any epic level event, EMP, quake, volcano, blackout, etc.) Then everyone still here will think they were left behind and will either submit to control because they think their chance to be saved is gone, or they will fall at the feet of the christ-like figure who appears at a later time.
