Personally I would rather go with the eastern teachings of salvation from this material existence as it is actually practical and makes logical sense that relates to the reality of the situation.

Instead of believing in a man who is worshipped as God who merely asks you believe in him without any effort or self sacrifice on spiritual practice from the individual. People actually think going into a building which they label the house of God to listen to a man who is supposedly saintly once a week that they will be free from this realm of suffering. Makes fuck all sense.

Salvation is your job and nobody elses. The house of the living God is the human body which is your tool to ascend into heaven. The human body is made by God, Churchs are made by man. So it would make logical sense that one should dedicate time and practice on themselves to save their counsciousness. Rather than going somewhere outside of themselves to be saved. The irony of the matter just kills me, especially when the Christian holy book tells them exactly the kingdom of God is within themselves. Yet they look into the world of temporal motion for salvation which is all an illusion.
