The recent large earthquakes of the Indo-Australian plate in tune with buoy activity points to something much deeper going on

I heard the plate was breaking about a year or so ago...

No, I didn't watch the vids...didn't feel the need to.

If it's breaking, it's breaking...this is life in the real world....shit happens. hard to say what the possible outcomes from this, but when I heard about it, it was "expected" to be a very long and slow process.

well if USGS, NOAA or the news would cover this activity then I wouldn't.
Instead they don't, in fact they'll probably end up deleting more buoys

I didn't mean to imply that it wasn't worth discussing. I guess it...to me...it was somewhat old news and I don't follow quakes much...but when I hear of them in that area, I just chalk it up to the breaking plate.

In the "Tectonic Summary" on the USGS site for the 7.8 (now a 7.5) it says the following:

The M 7.5 April 19, 2014 earthquake southwest of Panguna, Papua New Guinea, occurred as the result of thrust faulting on or near the subduction zone interface between the subducting Australia plate and overriding Pacific plate. At the location of the earthquake, the Australia plate moves towards the east-northeast at a velocity of 102 mm/yr with respect to the Pacific, and begins its subduction into the mantle beneath Bougainville Island at the New Britain Trench south of the earthquake. The moment tensor and depth of the event are consistent with thrust-type motion on the interface between these two plates. Note that at the location of the earthquake, some researchers divide the edge of the Australia plate into several microplates that take up the overall convergence between Australia and the Pacific. Here the Solomon Sea plate moves slightly faster and more northeasterly with respect to the Pacific plate than does Australia due to sea-floor spreading in the Woodlark Basin several hundred kilometers to the south of the April 19 earthquake.

Anyway I don't know what you speak of with things not "pan out" regarding the "April watch" and it being the strongest.
On April 16th, 2013 a 7.7 Earthquake hit the Iran/Pakistan boarder which for that area is HUGE.. something they haven't seen in a very long time. It killed 35 people as well.
Then in 2014:
April 1: 8.2 China
April 2:: 7.7 Chile
April 11: 7.1 Papua New Guinea
April 12: 7.6 Solomon Islands
April 13: 7.4 Solomon Islands
April 18: 7.2 Mexico
April 19: 7.5 Papua New Guinea

That's SEVEN 7+ earthquakes in the first 19 days of April.. the other 346 days in year 2014 had only five 7+ earthquakes. The largest of the year was that 8.2 on April 1st.
So yes the data speaks for itself.
Sadly though most are blind what is going on and the real story goes nowhere.
Just look at the booms again now.. here we go again. Yet the real story goes nowhere. Just more target shooting shaking entire communities lol.
Heck Morristown, Tennessee has had booms in January 3 years in a row now, even their news is hinting saying "the pattern is starting to become somewhat predictable"
