I found this thread when I came to post this.

I just had oral surgery am home recouping. Since 9am the two propeller big ones (Chinooks I think? Forgive me I'm a girl lol) have been circuling the area since early this morning. We do live near a small airport and have an air guard, but I have never seen this out and about. They are flying pretty low too. So loud. Don't know if maybe it is a drill weekend.
