So...What does this mean?


Building F-5 tornado this weekend in
Mississippi

It is true, that a very localized "EMERGENCY" (like gas
company closing your street because of a "gas-leak")
--MAY be adequately "covered" by a "ReadyDOT.Gov"
"bug-out-kit/bag."
But...things are really "ramping-up" and we may all need
a WIDER PICTURE...an "aerial view" of current dangers
to really grasp the "big picture!"

Suspicious Observer 4 min news for 4-29-2014

The incredible difference between the Polar Vortex air
mass which is being pulled down every week, it seems,
and the hotter Gulf Air rising to the north
--will mean that the F-5 outbreaks we are seeing this
week are NOT GOING TO GO AWAY any time soon. Don't you think it would be nice if the government let people in these areas know what their risks are going into a "mini-ice age?"

Check out this weather pattern which happened in
March this year! The clouds that normally rotate at
the EQUATOR are pushed all the way down by Australia~!
This "weather-event" last 4 days. The clouds didn't
just drift down to that position, they were PUSHED
as one unit to below S.America and stayed there all
4 days! This was an extreme earth-wobble and there
will likely be more coming up.

Kind of ironic how a couple days ago they were reporting the country was around 100 tornadoes short of this time last year... So much for that

It is that time of year again. I am 48 and ever since I remember there has been tornadoes and usually more in "Tornado Alley"..
I grew up in kankakee county Illinois and there were bad azz storms way back when I was a kid, It all seems pretty normal to me.
My question is..why do people not but homes out of concrete and steel that are tornado proof, seems to me rebuilding cities all the time ain't doin the trick. People need to live everywhere these day's so there should be some way for the insurance industry to help with low interest loans with all the billions they hoard.

anymore. The whole ball-game is changing!

Yeah I agree...the planet is definitely changing. We are seeing so many records this year worldwide. I remember reading a blog from a geophysicist that was describing in a very scientific (I couldn't understand half the graphs) sort of way what is happening to earth and what's going to happen climate wise...we are heading towards a mini ice age was his educated opinion. Not sure how people will adjust or how we will keep going but we will. This is a cycle and we are going through it again. Best to be aware and be prepared spiritually and other ways like you said OP. :)

Hubby was awakened by a horrific nightmare last night
--said he could HEAR the rumble (the F-5's)...and then
an earthquake.
We live in the blast radius of Yellowstone and we were
pretty freaked this a.m. when we saw the thread about
the Yellowstone seismic monitors being turned off.
Yes, they have maintenance, etc. But there wasn't
any kind of explanation on the USGS/Utah page explaining
why they are off--in fact a couple of the maps were
still running...totally smudged out by quake marks!
Better get your panties in a bunch and be ready
to RUN!
Will let you know of any rumbles in our area. We would
feel it if something happened in Yellowstone.

It's just our average 70-100 year normal solar cycle occurring. The Sun reached its peak and now is about to slumber and the Earth is readjusting itself naturally and accordingly as it has always done on these 100 year cycles.

@ALL: You do know that our north/south poles are shifting right now right? And Shifting poles affect weather greatly!

edit: Oh and Energy is here thus making storms stronger!

Sorry but you are wrong about the number of F-5 tornadoes.

We are at historic lows with tornadoes, period! Even F-5's!

The average number of tornadoes a year has been dropping the past decade and This "tornado event" we've had the past few days is absolutely NORMAL and long over due. Not to discount the "tornado event" in april of 2011. That was a record breaking day. I am schooled like you wouldn't believe in tornado statistics, so fire away!

A strong cold front. That's all it was.

You put strong northern winds behind the front mixing with the tropical winds of the gulf and you get an impeccable set up.

Theres other things that factor in as well.

Like CAPE/SBCAPE, helicity and wind shear

aka instability

The set up was ripe for tornadoes.

They happen in NYC too rarely. We usually get a spin up when a warm front is approaching from the south and theres a low pressure riding the front which induces alot of shear.
