I just saw again Tron legacy movie, It has a lot of soul prison symbolism wherein programs/souls are erased, rectified/reprogrammed then sent back into the game (reincarnated). When the kid “dies” to the laser gun, he finds himself on the astral(local I) and a spacecraft/soultrap emitting an intense whitelight arrives to harvest him. He realizes the danger and tries to escape in vain. He finally got caught by lunar drones and sent to reprocessing facilities/moon slaughterhouse along with other victims. Succubus/lunar whores give him in a new disk/collar/halo and a new suit/body, symbolizing the new cage/prison he just got in.

Also notice the AI is running the soulfarm for the lunar boss, while the lunar boss comfortably sits on his throne/chambers just watching.
It was funny how the father/prisioncreator/god tells the kid “go into the light”. The lunar boss is roleplaying the good and the bad guy, but they are both the same guy. This is more obvious at the end as the lunar boss sucks and merge everybody/everything into “oneness”.
As usual the kid didn't accomplish anything and is sent back into the game/prison reincarnated. Notice the kid has to enter the white light beam before reincarnation and the lunar boss feeds of his childhood memories.
I remember when he said to his son "go to the light" he said it with a smirk on his face like he knew it's a trap.
You reminded me a clip of a video game murdered soul suspect i saw a week ago.
At 7:28 right after your player died and exited his body you're given a command to go to the light!(there's also reincarnation symbolism at the moment of his death showing him again as a baby etc).
There the lunar boss awaits him at the form of his loved one and pay attention what our player says at

The little girl he visits later symbolizes also the lunar boss and has a clever pyramid symbol on her clothes.
Don't have time to rewatch the whole clip again but i remember towards the end at 25:02 the soul vampires make appearance which reminded me and look identical to the ones from the movie ghost.

I have understand how the lunar spider operates and that is like a chess player. She calculates all our possible moves and sets her traps that way all our possible moves will be like the "death or exile" option from batman.
Here and in the ghost movie they pretty much showed us "go to the light=purgatory=hell=holly flames rofl or her ghost drones will do that for you=take you there".
