Some people have brought up this concept and I think it's pretty interesting. I wanted to start a new thread on it so as not to hijack or take away from the original thread.
We always hear media outlets, politicians, and military leadership saying how vulnerable we are to E.M.P. attacks and how we'd be crippled, etc. etc.
Is it possible that for the most part, we're protected against it? I understand that in no way will we be 100% protected but protected enough that any attacking government and military will get a major mind effing.
It just makes no sense to me why military and government would spread information about how weak an E.M.P. would make us.
I know I wouldn't run around telling people that I was bad at blocking on my right side if I thought the info could be used against me. Now I might spread that rumor if I was in fact amazing on the right side and wanted others to try to exploit my weakness when it is in fact a strength of mine.
We all know that we have military weapons and defenses that have not been made public. Is it too much to think that we're actually doing an Ali and pulling a rope-a-dope?
Or...
Am I giving them too much credit and they really do just broadcast our weaknesses?
