I think a relationship that is truly "meant to be" develops naturally and requires little effort. I've yet to have one of those lol, but after going through the opposite, it's my new way of looking at it. A man who catches my attention is usually just like me in some ways, and totally different from me in others. Morally, I think it's important to be on the same wavelength. Having differences in opinion though, not sharing all the same interests, each having their own mind and speaking it...those are things that are important to me. Without those, it gets boring fast. Wit and a sense of humour also important. An ability to boss me around and put me in place comes in handy. :) Most importantly though...a good heart and soul. |

They are making a sacrifice of happiness in order to more completely consummate their union. They will pay for this for the rest of their lives, though they may be happy to do so.
