m0tivati0n_2.o User ID: 55042359 ![]() 05/12/2014 08:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 2012 Mazda 5 never been a mini van type (got rid of my '12 silverado 4dr for it) but needed more room for growing family, and a solution to higher gas prices. i was burning up $100/week with my truck and i only worked 9 miles from home (Baltimore traffic) but this little 4 banger sips gas,and the wife chose it because it "smiles" at you from the front, kinda funny. And it seats 7. My truck was a pain with my sons and football practices/games. never fit more than 2 kids+equipment in it with 2 adults. I can jam 4 kids 2 adults and all the equipment bags in this little Mazda no prob... I purchased a new 1979 Firebird Formula, but they were out of the 6.6 liter, or 400 c.i. The 400 was the Pontiac engine, the 403 was the Olds engine. I got the 301..all they had..good car though..My first car was a 1973 Pontiac Grand Prix, with a 455 c.i. and Turbo 400 tranny.
