I don't like either party but I think the American people think they haven't gotten sufficient answers. The democrats believe they are in the clear and they are setting up the republicans to have everything come out right before the midterms and make the republicans look like fools, again. The republicans think they will uncover some huge plot that will come out before the election and make the democrats look like fools and bad.

The American people simply want to know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth and many believe they've haven't gotten that yet.

Okay, what in the hell is "proper voting ID"? A state issued document proving that you are a resident of the state?

Don't you have to provide that if you are buying cigarettes or alcohol? Opening a bank account? Registering a motor vehicle? cashing a check?

Why shouldn't ID be required to vote for the guy in charge of the most powerful weapons on the planet?
 Quoting: Reverend

[link to www.truth-out.org]

Republicans in Florida also passed new restrictions on voter registration groups, making it so difficult to register new voters that the League of Women Voters gave up. As Weyrich said, Republican leverage in elections “goes up when the voting populace goes down.”
Other Republican-controlled states did the same, along with new ALEC-written Voter Suppression ID laws to block access to the polls for minorities, poor people, college students, and the elderly.
According to a study by the Brennan Center for Justice, 25% of blacks, 19% of Latinos, 18% of young people, 18% of seniors, and 15% of poor people lack the ID these new laws require to vote.

It’s been a long, brutal struggle in America to expand voting rights to more people than just white men.
 Quoting: WindyMind

Yeah, It's really hard to go to a state agency and provide a birth certificate, proof of residence and MAYBE a social security card to get a state issued ID.

That's definitely voter suppression...
 Quoting: Reverend

It is basically making people jump through hoops to vote.
 Quoting: WindyMind

What hoops? Unless you are living as "Free Man On The Land" you are required to show ID to:

Buy an "M" rated video game, rent a car, get a marriage license, get on an airplane, get medicaid, apply for social security... There are too many to mention.

Your argument is invalid.

OK.. I have questions and NO one seems to clarify the mystery.

1 Why did Hillary or her underlings NOT respond when the Ambassador pleaded for added security? For months!!! All the other nations pulled their people out of Libya, due to the threats and how unsafe it was. BUT Hillarys people declined the many requests and then in August pulled 16 more Marines from the Libyan embassy.
2 Hillary said they did not send help because they had no idea how long the attack would last!!!! REALLY????????? 4 assets were within two hours, but the military could not respond without the state dept request due to HILLARYS.. rule.

3 Were they gun running Libyan weapons to Turkey then Syria which was totally against the laws of the UN.. ?

4 Did they really hope to persuade the public to think it was just a protest gone bad so Obama would be reelected? If sooooooooooooo prosecution is in order.

We have the most incompetent administration in the history of this country. IRS used to intimidate and silence opposition. Veterans dying before they are seen by doctors.. administrators receiving bonuses if the costs of the hospitals are kept down..HOW MANY OF OUR BRAVE DIED FOR THESE LOUSY BUREAUCRATS TO BE FREE???????

Democrats have bungled everything, destroyed the medical system, more people on government assistance then ever before in the history of the country. 93 million people out of work UNREAL.. 160 bills have been passed by congress sent to the senate 40 of them economy bills which would help creat jobs Harry Reid will not allow any of the bills be introduced to the senat.. YET it is Republicans being obstructionists???????

Half of your search results say that it's not. The other half are from places that don't hide their agenda.

You have a nice night. You either don't understand the truth behind that argument or you choose to try to give it validity. Either way it's become tiresome.

I watch fox a lot, just to see a different side of things, but every time Benghazi is brought up, Hillary's name is brought up as well. Republicans are using it as a case to prevent her from running for future elections. That is all it seems to me instead of focusing on preventing it again.

What are the republicans doing to prevent another Benghazi? What are their plans to end it? If it really matters shouldn't they work on policy to prevent it happen again??

Or does it not really matter so they use it as a weapon against an opponent?

It really doesn't make sense, if it matters to them or not?

Will someone explain it to me?

what you don't seem to get is that all of what you have said has been "feed" to us through mainstream media, which is owned by very very monied people. I never know anymore when I've been told the truth or when they lie to me. And hey, you can say anything on the internet right, well if you own the media you can print and say whatever you want.

Here's where people now get fucked up; politically it makes absolutely no difference which party is elected. because all politicians (it seems) have no allegiance to their party. Their party is one of, power and greed.

The same hoops I jump through everyday when I,
Buy cigarettes
Buy beer
Deposit money in my own account
Get pulled over
Vote
Return an item to Home Depot

I know votes is in there and it shouldn't be. Seems like it would be.
The only reason democrats shills ( you'll notice there are no republican shills) don't want it in there is because it would regulate voting.

1 person 1 vote.

There are documented cases of voter fraud that where people voted for obama six or more times.

op, I can't convince you. Hell, I won't even try.

Everything that is happening in DC right now is theater staged to reinforce the two-sided illusion that is the fly-paper mobius strip of American political death, and you seem completely stuck on it.

you see, people use the "two-sides to the same coin" analogy to describe our two-party system, yet that is wrong.

a coin does in fact have to two distinct sides. even if the images on both sides are the same, there are still two sides. separate but equal. not the system we have here since one party is always in the majority.

a circle, or a loop, also has two sides (an inside and an outside). separate, but not equal. closer, but still not accurate.

what we have politically in the US more closely resembles a mobius strip in that the "two-party loop" has been twisted in a manner that, even though there is the appearance, the illusion, of there still being two opposing sides, there in reality is only one side.

over the last 10-15 years, more and more people have been waking up to this fact and are becoming disillusioned with the status quo and want real, substantive change.

this drama is meant to re-ensnare those flies that broke free from the adhesive bonds.

don't get me wrong, I totally hope that Hillary goes down in flames because of this and takes Obama, et. al. with her, especially that swine Valeria Jarret.

Fuck progressives.
