No one was shot, and the alleged shooter supposedly committed suicide... It got massive TV coverage instantly, and seemed like a scripted event that was supposed to have many 'casualties' but got called off. Very strange. Well... here we go again... Garden State Plaza Mall evacuated, gunshots feared as car is spotted on fire The Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J., was evacuated after unidentified noises feared to be gunshots were heard. A burning car outside Macy’s appeared to be the source of the explosive sounds, but police could not confirm that. Sources say SWAT teams were dispatched to the mall. Quoting: Tell Me Lies I don't think it's so much that it's a bad area, as it seems that that mall/area has been designated for heavy police response, seemingly for non-events. Last time, police came from all over the state, many from the nearby drill. You can find videos of the parking lot from back then, it was absolutely full of emergency response vehicles, but why? If I remember correctly, that area is actually supposed to be a nicer area, but can't say for sure as I've never been there nor do I plan to, lol.

But being in north Jersey, no matter how nice the town is, its still a short drive from some kind of ghetto.

And this time around, there's an evacuation and SWAT team response for a car on fire in the parking lot? On a side note, the November event was only weeks after the highly publicized mass casualty terror event at an upscale Westgate mall in Kenya.
