Worth reminding we had exposed before in the soul traps thread the island of far cry 3 to symbolize the moon. In ancient literature the moon was called the medusa head that got separated from it's body in draco constellation. In far cry 3 that's exactly what citra told to jason "after a hero cut the head clean off from a giant that head became this island of far cry 3" then she put you in a boss fight where you were fighting medusa herself in her giant form.
