At least the Channel Islands are still looking good. I see kelp, fish, seals and even diving birds all day long. [ link to www.nps.gov] Yes thank God for the areas that are still alive and thriving. But I feel sorrow about the 1/3 of the life that will die in the ocean very soon. Same with the plant life of which 1/3 will die off. It doesn't mention what happens to man as a direct result, but we can guess it's not good. I'm in Ventura. I don't go in the water anymore....and I don't eat our fish. Just cuz it can still swim doesn't mean it isn't loaded with radiation.
