Whats with these "light-workers" and "ascension"?

Many people feel some thing. Many are truly feeling it. With anything though you will have those who will try to cash in on it. Best thing to do is listen to your self. What are your first thoughts and instincts on it? Does it feel right? If not leave it alone.

I have been a bit surprised how big the "new age" movement has gotten across all media and forums. Music etc. That itself concerns me because I know some of it is just more control. There are people "waking up" but some of them are being woken up by the same thing that put them to sleep. Trust yourself above all others. You will know.

If you take an honest look at yourself you'll know who "they" are. you wouldn't separate yourself from them.

We are all here to experience what is about to happen. Not any one of us more than another. Some of us just happened to be more in tuned with it (which is both a blessing and a curse). But what is about to happen is for all of us here.

And to be honest although it is going to look like and feel like heaven and hell existing simultaneously here for a while.. what is about to happen is something that does not happen very often. LOL it is so unprecedented really. and nobody even knows it. or very few people know.. what is coming.. it is quite wild.

But the answer to it all exists deep within you. within all of us. starting with who you are. the truth.. your cosmic heritage. our universal nature. the truth about life. being something that should be beautiful... sacred. magical.

Look more to the blessing because it will allow us to help others through it when it happens. Why we were prepared ahead of time. Remember some are not going to understand when it does. They will need our help. You will know what to do when it does. The more that are truly aware and have already experienced and embraced the "feeling" that will embrace all when it does happen the more will get through in the end. When time stops.

Well, the thing about new-age, at least the spirituality side, is that it is mostly based on meditation and body awareness concepts that have been around forever. At least in my opinion.
And the thing is, alot of it does feel right to me, and im sure alot of others. I just think that there may be alot of fantasy involved, which may mislead or confuse people.

Even if it is all fantasy I'm not sure too much bad can come from these ascension beliefs. There is alot of positive vibes from that community. Except that, it may give a lasting impression that Tim Leary did with the Acid movement -

"a generation of permanent cripples, failed seekers, who never understood the essential old-mystic fallacy of the Acid Culture: the desperate assumption that somebody... or at least some force - is tending the light at the end of the tunnel.” - hunter thompson

And thats what this whole idea of ascenion rests on. Somebody guiding the light. But im only speaking to this sub-section of new-agers. This topic is not about all new-agers.

The thing is, how do you know this "event" is coming? What evidence is there for it? Besides some channelers claiming to interact with beings , who MAY be telling the truth. If they even exist at all.

How do I know? I have been "aware" this event was going to happen my entire life. Four decades. Not revelations bibles based either. I have known as long as I can remember thinking, which is toddler age, that I was here for this time for a reason. This time is THAT time. I have always KNOWN. Can't speak for others. Sounds insane but it is true. Many just know.

I agree that even if it is just fantasy if it is good vibes what is wrong with some of it? I just do not like profit off others to teach it because the teachings are free already inside us.

They are the ones that climb towers to replace light bulbs and they're PISSED management won't put in an elevator so they can ascend to the top without climbing!

Next they'll be wanting to raise the wages to $10hr because they think they are skilled workers!!!

“light workers” suffer from delusions of grandeur. Their predictions are always wrong. Who can believe them at this point?
