"You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time. ~Abe Lincoln~ Thank God for those voices who persistanly cried in a wilderness of lies to bring the truth to light. . |

Somehow this could be related, maybe people don't expect moral advices from the govt anymore after they saw what happened: Americans growing less interested in government "promoting moral values" by John in DC - 7/01/2006 11:19:00 AM Big drop in ten years. From the National Journal: Values: Legislating Morality Another release from the Gallup poll on Americans' values reveals a divide about the role of government in modeling morality. When respondents were asked whether the federal government should "be involved in promoting moral values in our society," 48 percent said it should and 48 percent said it shouldn't. Poll numbers from a decade ago -- May 1996, about six months before Bill Clinton won a second term in the White House -- show more of a desire for institutional participation. Six in 10 said the federal government should be involved in promoting moral values in our society, more than 10 points higher than the current survey. Thirty-eight percent said the government shouldn't be involved. |

World Net Daily down 23%. Michelle Malkin down 30%. The Weekly Standard down 37%. Pajamas Media down 39%. Raw Story up 6%. Center for American Progress up 12%. Crooks and Liars up 17%. Think Progress up 41%. I’ve no doubt I’ve forgotten some notable examples that might be exceptions to this trend (although I will assure you I did not find a single right-wing blog whose traffic went up that I deliberately left out), and regular old blogs all seem to be down a bit. Eschaton is down 16%. Daily Kos is down 10%. Shakes is down 8%. But even there, the right-wing blogs look to be doing worse. Little Green Footballs down 19%. Volokh Conspiracy down 28%. Powerline down 33%. |

Mass telecommunications has effected the mind of man, previously we would wait weeks to hear of wars and never hear about sufferings of others in distant lands. Today we hear and see all and we cannot cope because our technology has evolved too quickly. As the shift takes place more people realise this people will become more and more community focused and the World will be changed for the better by people being focused on and acting locally, Instead of being in a state of paralising negativity from being overextended emotionally. This is not to say that we should not help others outside our local community, but we should realise the limitations of the human heart-mind. |

Their lying and pathetic attempts to scare us are getting more and more apparent, as well as their perversions, that only they are allowed to commit, so they think. When are they going to start spending millions to showcase Bush's affair with Rice. These people are all child molestors, and embezzlers, and news shows can minimize that all they want, but they can't make it go away. We know they are full of shit. |

The stupidity and ignorance of people who parrot people like Rush "zero tolerance for all drug users but me" Limbaugh is so extreme it is almost surreal. People who are that fucking dumb are the same kind of people who think Saddam Hussein was behind the 9/11 attacks. |
