So how long should you get water you won't pay for? 60 days? 90 days? Why should you have to pay for water at all since you are special? Why can't you assault or threaten a utility worker for doing his job?

I agree with you. I didnt know we were behind, my husband pays the bills cause I am not able to. I just believe still that most people want to pay thier bills. I hope in our case they give us a chance to work out payment plans or something! Not every person behind is a bad person.

QUIT DEPENDING ON YOUR ABUSERS
MANY IN THIS ONCE GREAT NATION SUFFER FROM STOCKHOLM SYNDROME
THEY ACT LIKE THE WHORE THAT KEEPS RETURNING TO THEIR ABUSIVE PIMP FOR SAFETY AND SECURITY.

MICHIGAN IS TOUTED AS THE LAND OF 10,000 LAKES IT IS SITUATED RIGHT NEXT TO THE LARGEST COLLECTION OF FRESH WATER ON THE PLANET. WATER IS NOT THE PROBLEM, PEOPLE ARE.

INSTEAD OF PROTESTING TO YOUR ABUSER, START BUILDING A WATER SYSTEM OUTSIDE OF THE MATRIX. GO OLD SCHOOL AT FIRST. (BUCKETS) IF YOU CAN COME TOGETHER TO PROTEST YOU CAN COME TOGETHER FOR WATER. THEY ARE EXPECTING PROTEST. WHAT WOULD THEY DO IF YOU TOLD THEM BY YOUR ACTIONS (YEA WHATEVER) YOU CAN KEEP YOUR F'IN WATER, WE DON'T NEED YOU.

IT WOULD NOT BE EASY, BUT IT CAN BE DONE.
MOST OF THE REST OF THE WORLD USES BUCKETS.
PUT A BUCKET BRIGADE ON YOUTUBE.

PROBLEM = SEND DETROIT JOBS TO CHINA (NO JOBS NO MONEY NO WATER)
REACTION = PROTEST DEMANDING CHANGE
SOLUTION = YOURS OR THEIRS, YOU DECIDE.

DETROIT IS ANOTHER ARIZONA LAND GRAB.

Protest is no longer a viable strategy.

You need to avoid open conflict with tyrants and their enforcers.

Speak privately with your community, without using telephones or the internet.

Organize yourselves and come up with a plan of action.

Set goals and work together to make them happen.

Plausible deniability. Don't get caught.

I second this and it does work. Been happening in my neighborhood for over a decade.

I just hate to see people sucker-punched like what is happening here. Although I think it is a sucker-punch that wakes most of us up. That's surely what happened to me. I am thankful it was not on the scale that has been talked about in this thread. Mine was the medical/workmans comp mafia.

The city itself doesn't have the Muslims. Most of them are in Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit. There's also a population of Muslims in Sterling Heights and Troy.

Is it racist to cheer for China when they level Detroit?

I mean, I know there are hate laws and I don't want to be called an anti-semite (like many conspiracy site broadcasters) and being told I'm anti-Israel (denying the holocaust the way it was told, etc.), but in this instance, China has no long standing history with anyone in this country outside our government.

And as far as the Chinese people go, I LOVE the Chinese!

I love their food (those buffets are killer (pun intended)), I love the 95% of the products I own around my home, made by their cute little hands, heck, I even love the cute little feet of the massage girl the next town over from me.

You are a fucking idiot. Where do you think all these people you hate so much will end up when Detroit is leveled by the Chinese? That's right, they'll be sent to move into your neighborhoods.

Chicago closed down all it's public housing a few years ago and sent them ALL downstate. Now every small to medium sized city in Illinois is overrun with gangs, nightly shootings and rape.

Why would you rather have people you hate kicked out of somewhere you don't live so they can instead live next door to you, dipshit?

If you cannot pay your water bill, you probably aren't paying your taxes either.

I know some people have fallen on hard times, but our state hasn't fully transitioned to a socialist state.

You will see an underclass created that are wards of the state.

This will happen, but it isn't reality yet. Therefore, people suffer.

TO RECAP:

So far we have -

1) Minimal to no warning water is being shut off for as little as 60 day delinquency

2) Proof of shutoff not provided, in the case mentioned arrested for asking questions

3) Protesters are now prisoners

4) Prisoners are being held at an old jail that is supposed to be CLOSED per MDOT

5) Multiple BS charges added at time of arraignment

6) CPS sweeps in next to take children from "homes w/o water"

Please don't make this a black thing.

Please don't make this a poor thing.

SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG HERE!

This is a TEST, just like Boston Bombing Martial Law!

You laugh now...but this will be coming to a neighborhood near you. Maybe for a different reason. And you will have no recourse, become part of the system, and have your f*cking life ripped apart over little or nothing. No one escapes.

Hicks said the contractor got mad when she asked to see the termination orders for herself and her neighbors.

“He told me they are on the computer and he couldn’t produce them,” Hicks said. “They are shutting people off with no procedures and no due process, despite the critical importance of the water infrastructure. The guy went to his car to look up the orders I thought, and I followed him so he could show me on the computer. I was leaning up slightly into the car to see, and all of a sudden he peeled off, hitting me and causing me to fall down and hurt my hip and gash my foot, which began bleeding. He didn’t say get back, and I just got discombobulated and fell down.”

Hicks said a one-gallon red plastic gas container fell off the back of his truck when he hit a bump in the road. She then called 911 to report that she had been assaulted.

“The police came, looked at my foot, and then told me they were going to charge me with felonious larceny for stealing city equipment. They said if they were going to believe anybody, it would be the city. All of a sudden, I became the perpetrator.”
