June 1 UPDATE: The spikes have now gone to 210. Will post the averages when we get them. There was an event on May 25th with loss of power causing issues in Units 2 and 3. UNIT 3 had rupture of the pressurizer relief tank rupture disk inside containment. [link to pbadupws.nrc.gov] Update: Shell Beach/Diablo Canyon area is still reading very high for the fifth day in a row. Spikes have gone up to 192 cpm and are currently around the 113 range. No EPA graphs can be found to corroborate. If you live in the area of Shell Beach and probably within the wind flow east of there, you should not be outside. Call your local health department to try to get them to release EPA readings. Readings in Diablo Canyon right now are 133 CPM. Be careful around there folks. Shellfish, CA. Alarm on the citizen reader's meter went off at 7:30 AM passing 100CPM. NRC not reporting on this yet as an incident.
