The wives of Noah's sons would have been female giants (24 fingers and toes) so that is how giants came to be after the flood. The son that went to Canaan would have been where those giants came from that died in the exodus wars. For every 10 children born 5 would be 5 fingered and 5 would be 6 fingered. If the 5 fingered ones married each other all their children would have 5 fingers, same for the 6 fingered giants. That is where the genetic diversity comes from.

The water needed to cover the high hills and mountain tops with 22ft of snow (ice) and rain on all the other land areas would drop the ocean level 5.5ft. After the snow stopped it was 150 days (5 months) before the tops could be seen as being rock.

The creation days are even more different because in the old earth creation theory the creation days were 10x longer as you go back in time. For example day 6 was from 400,000BC to 40,000BC and day 2 way from 4,000,000,000BC to 400,000,000BC.

Once you add the realities we know today the books becomes more literal than imaginary. The one I like the best is 'all the nations on the earth' from Jer:25 is to come under judgment and the 4th seal has an area called 1/4 of the earth. Only with the maps we have today would 1/4 of the earth be known to be all of the dry land which means somebody did the math way back when it was an unknown thing.
