I think it would be unrealistic to believe God won't intercept man's final act of self ruler ship.

"for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short." Mt24;21

Well, here is the solution to that problem:

'And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.'- Psalms 37:10,11

As Jehovah Witnesses both of you must have believed blindly to JW's doctrine of restoration.

If people can be honest to themselves without any indoctrination influence, most will admit they don;t know what the future may hold. Believing blindly sometime give religion believers a mental crutch, with most likely is a false sense of security. Most people need that less they become insane. The very minority people who take the gnostic path, the seeking of knowledge instead of just stopping at blind faith, are differently wired. They may believe a certain statement, but as seeker of truth, they don't put unconfirmed and unproven statement into conclusive truth like the typical JWs or Christians. Unproven believe is a hypothesis that must later on be proven true or false, not just be believed blindly.

People tend to place the Creator in a box bounded by their own limited imaginations and experience, to view him as if He is somehow bound by human limitations. He is not bound, as some would assume, by any imaginable constraints, no He has the ability to fold up what we all reality like an old, used garment, and throw it away, to tear open the very fabric of reality itself.

The Bible says the earth will be restored. That is not a JW belief. That is a Bible one. It also says the meek will inherit the earth. JW's are right about what the Bible teaches about our earth.

Only God can do a true restoration and He will remove the ones who keep hurting this earth. Humans keep messing it up.

"The nations were angry, and your wrath has come. The time has come for judging the dead, and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small-- and for destroying those who destroy the earth." Revelation 11:18

In order to do a true restoration, God is going to have to remove the wicked from this planet. That is why He says the meek will inherit this earth. They are the ones who will truly take care of it.

Re: Is it unrealistic to believe the earth will be restored to paradise conditions? Some feel that way, what about you?
If you believe in the Bible, it states the Earth was "cleansed" the first time with water. The second cleansing will be by fire to destroy evil and purify the Earth. Then the new Jerusalem will descend from the heavens and settle on Earth. At that point the Earth will be restored to "paradise" condition and all that have remained true to the word of God will "be with" Jesus in the new paradise. This new Jerusalem is the "mansion" Jesus spoke of going to prepare for us which has "many rooms".
One of the great deceptions Satan has brought upon the Earth (beside having us accept Sunday as the day of worship instead of the Sabbath as clearly stated in the Commandments) is we immediately go to Heaven or Hell upon death. The Bible clearly states "the dead know nothing" and sleep, awaiting Jesus' voice (upon his second coming) to rise from the grave and join him in the air. Those believers who are left alive will then join the dead in receiving their immortal form.
If everyone is already in Heaven with Jesus or Hell why are we told we would rise from the grave? Will everyone have a twin?
Of course, if you do not believe in the Bible...your guess is as good as mine if paradise will be seen again.

Re: Is it unrealistic to believe the earth will be restored to paradise conditions? Some feel that way, what about you?
After the Battle of Armageddon, when God FINALLY takes
the reins out of man's hands, and takes them Himself,
Jesus will create Paradise on Earth, as it was in the Garden.
This will last one thousand years, but the curse of death
for those born in thst era, will STILL not have been lifted yet.

One last test will remain.

REVELATION 20
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

That is right, He is not limited by humans, that is why he will have his original purpose fulfilled, as this scripture tells us:

"For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: “I am Jehovah, and there is no one else."- Isaiah 45:18

No it's completely believable , God is ALLMIGHTY .. That means there's not anything that he wants to do that he can't do . He never breaks his promises ! He is high above anything we can imagine. the new earth and heaven will be so great !! We can't even fully imagine the things he's prepared for those who love him

Come Quickly LORD JESUS !

Interesting you mention God never breaks his promises, I like that....I like also how the Apostle Paul told us God cannot lie:

"Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the faith of God’s chosen ones and the accurate knowledge of the truth which accords with godly devotion 2 upon the basis of a hope of the everlasting life which God, who cannot lie, promised before times long lasting'- Titus 1;1,2

Your right, human government will never solve the earth's problems, even those who may have noble intent

"Do not put YOUR trust in nobles,
Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs.

In that day his thoughts do perish.

Reality.....no man and 5 million or so years and everything will be more than fine IMHO
"If we [FBI] recommend [idicting], we literally hand over documentation implying the entire government is involved in treason at the highest levels and everyone is about to duck and cover, as well as some sensitive details of SAPs which would obliterate national security."

Once the majority of pesky humans are out of the picture (including Democrats AND Republicans) yeah it would. We're long overdue for a planet reset. History shows unforeseen and repeated events (comet? rapid climate change?) that take out the majority of earths inhabitants. Would be hellish for a while but in time, once again, paradise.....

Yes, but probably not any time soon though...earth changes are just starting. I think as the earth's weather gets more severe (grand solar minimum), as the resources become harder to get..people will make choices...either kill each other off or unite. I have hope we will unite and when that happens we will turn things around fast and paradise will be restored. :)

Biblical history shows too, that there were previous restorations for God's people which had an initial fulfillment in Bible times with a greater fulfillment to come:

"For Jehovah will certainly comfort Zion. He will for certain comfort all her devastated places, and he will make her wilderness like Eden and her desert plain like the garden of Jehovah. Exultation and rejoicing themselves will be found in her, thanksgiving and the voice of melody'- Isaiah 51:3

beloved, earth never has been, nor ever will be in Paradise Conditions. Paradise is the central Isle in the middle of the whole creation. it is massive and semi/spiritual in mass and occupied only by Spirit beings. From It all matter and creation flows back and forth.

While this world is going to ascend,,, and be indwelt by the Paradise Father so to speak, it can never be of Paradise conditions. This world has experienced war for over 1 million years. It never was a paradise,,, it is a world for developing NEW SOUL for the ever expanding creation. It WILL INDEED however, become a finer world.
