The American male has become a wimp.

This post is the personal opinion from what I have witnessed and my theory on the subject. I respect your opinions, so please allow me mine. The modern day young man and teenage boy have evolved into being a passive creature that will stand for nothing. If they do at all have a significant other that is female, they are content to hide behind the woman and depend on the female for protection and guidance rather than to be the protector and defend their female partner and their beliefs. I feel as though the majority of this is owed to the father being absent and the mother raising the child with no male figure to offer instruction to the child. Having no male in the picture leaves only a feminine example. Although not always the case, it has been in my personal experience. When my wife and I wed many years ago, her son was a teenager with no male figure to speak of for many years. The child's father was content to sit at home on the pc and not work and depend on the wife to scrape out a living with no help. To this day, the man still lives with his parents and depends on "friends" for all needs. He was always opposed to his son playing contact sports for fear of injury. He promoted such activities with the boy such as using female bath products, keeping nails polished and hair fixed at female hair salons, enjoying season tickets to such things as musicals and dances. He influenced him into a lifestyle of dance, music and not your typical male activities. Now, the boy can do nothing for himself period. He can't cut the yard, take the trash out, check the oil in anything, use a screwdriver or hammer, pump gas and so on, but he is great at hitting the high notes in the opera songs and dancing. I have attempted many times through the years to be an example, with no good outcome. I farm over 8000 acres and raise cattle and have tried to get him to help me, to take him fishing, take him hunting, shooting skeet among other things. He always walked away with no interest, but and no problem with spending time with his father and his fathers "male friends." So the boy has matured into a nice little girl. He is afraid to get dirty doing any type of manual work, but enjoys his long bubble baths with sweet pea fragrance. He will grow up to be a person that depends on all others, probably men, for all his needs and directions in life. He will never have any heart felt convictions on anything and will never take a stand for anyone or anything. Basically, useless to society.
