Anonymous Coward User ID: 42719781 United States 06/12/2014 10:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a real hard time believing that the Democrats could motivate their people to vote out Cantor when they can't even motivate them to vote for their own candidates. I doubt it amounted to more than a few hundred votes. The simple fact is that Cantor significantly underperformed versus his 2012 primary result, with 8500 fewer votes this time around. That's larger than Brat's margin of victory. He lost because the GOP voters in that district dumped him, no other reason. |

It's the same way dems foisted mcshame on everyone by crossing party lines and voting for him in the primary. Quoting: chuckles45 Yes, I am quite sure on Dem primary day... every Republican in the district sits home and says... now now, we have no business voting in the Democrats primary, let's not kibitz in their business dear.... |

This is about "immigration"reform",which Cantor wanted to push it through this year just to play nice with the Liberals. We conservatives said "NO". |

Cantor was Americans Yanukovitch, selling his position for the benefit of another nation in order to destroy the US. Other than his party designation, exactly what Republican or conservative principles has he espoused? He's just another Chuckie Shumer, Bloomberg, Rivera etc, its always the same group that plays the deceiver for their own nations benefit. |

Or he was behind in his deibold payments. There is fraud, but it can be overwhelmed where they dare not push it against a tide. That's why they do anything they can to keep you at home doing nothing while they vote multiple times. Those that tell you to stay home, do not Those that tell you the general is just another primary, know better. Those that tell you that anyone pays attention to losers, is lying. Those who tell you to do nothing but vote are busy changing everything else while you do nothing. Parties should be forced to represent you, not you represent them. If you dont force republicans to be republican they wont be, theyll be democrats. |

The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

No one has lost a majority seat in 115 years. For those who think they know how "tptb" work, it is not by breaking history that works in their favor. In some states you have to be a registered republican to vote in the republican primary or a registered democrat to vote in the democratic primary. Makes you wonder why anyone but elected officials would opt for party affiliation in Virginia, you don't need to have any party affiliation since the primary is a mini election. |
