Ah, I see the one-man/woman encyclopedia that BlueRidgeDoom... strikes again.

How does Israel "annex land FROM Israel"... exactly? lulz

If we're talking about the kick-ass Caroline Glick... her idea is to annex most of the West Bank.

I don't agree. Naftali Bennett's plan of only annexing the so-called 'Area C' of the West Bank.... is better. It is 60% of the entire WB, it includes strategic mountain range from which Pali terrorists could fire on Israeli cities... it also includes most of Jordan Valley from which Jordanian terrorists would smuggle Iranian weapons to Palis.

Area C despite its big size only has a few 10,000's of Arabs, who could be offered permanent residence status eventually turned into Israel citizenship (provided they are not implicated in criminal activity in the meantime)

By actual international law--- see San Remo decision by League of Nations + UN's Founding Article 80 enshrining thereof.... it would be kosher.

Of course UN will still blow their gasket. And some radical Marxist judge at ICC on Arab oil-money payroll... will still call Israel war-criminals -- actual letter of international law be damned.

Palestinians will get the green-light from the White House to kick off a horrific 3rd 'Intifada" also known as Kill Jewish kids and women kill kill kill pussycat kill Allahu Akbar Fun-time Hour!

and well, annexing Area C won't be as easy as Naftali Bennett imagines. BUT, in case Palestinians start their Intifada war first -- and Hezbollah-Iran get involved as they promised --- then as punitive measure Israel will have nothing to lose but to annex strategic WB areas.

Which is theirs anyway, if you know anything about history, religion, archeology or a smidgen of common sense.

Israeli Officials: Iran Deal an 'Historic Mistake' [link to dlvr.it]

 Quoting: Earth Cries

An historic mistake for whom?

Israel or the world?

Iran is benefiting, the US is benefiting - the only one not benefiting is Israel.

Make the world more dangerous for whom?

It's already pretty dangerous if you're an Iranian with Israeli nukes targeted on you. Or a Palestinian defending your home from being razed.

Or if you're anyone, from anywhere, of ANY religion or nationality who speaks out against Zionism.

You're automatically an antisemite, and depending on where you are in the world, it can get you imprisoned or killed.

.2% of the world's population holding the rest of the planet hostage, and the biggest thing GLP can find to bitch about is the UNFAIRNESS of gay wedding cakes or lack thereof.

People don't want peace or even freedom. They just want these things for themselves and people LIKE them.

You know how always said the "capitulation or war" was always an outrageously false choice presented by the White House cheerleaders in order to cower any legitimate opposition -- including personal war waged against Netanyahu

EXCERPT:

"US President Barack Obama, his advisers and media cheerleaders have long presented his nuclear diplomacy with the Iran as the only way to avoid war. Obama and his supporters have castigated as warmongers those who oppose his policy of nuclear appeasement with the world’s most prolific state sponsor of terrorism.

But the opposite is the case. Had their view carried the day, war could have been averted.

Through their nuclear diplomacy, Obama and his comrades started the countdown to war.

In recent weeks we have watched the collapse of the allied powers’ negotiating positions.

They have conceded every position that might have placed a significant obstacle in Iran’s path to developing a nuclear arsenal...."

Re: ISRAEL-GAZA 50-Day War
Another sharp take on the matter. What makes it noteworthy is the fact that former PM Ehud Barak is far from Netanyahu right-winger -----> Barak is in fact the most known Israeli Left-winger in the world after Rabin.

(full disclosure: General Ehud Barak was an absolute unmitigated disaster in his brief stint as Israeli PM --- his cowardly surrender of South Lebanon to Hezbollah; as well as attempted surrender of WB/Gaza to Arafat & the Golan Heights to Assad....are a stuff of nightmares for every sane Israeli)

But it's also true that Barak knows his military stuff, some even call him brilliant, even if his decisions are corrupted by ego & desire to please the masters in Washington (like Bill Clinton who made Barak dance like a beyotch)

Anyway here's the Time article

'Ehud Barak: Iran Has Escaped a Noose'

[link to time.com]

EXCERPT:

"But President Obama does our side no favor by arguing that a strike will ignite another Middle East war. A surgical strike on key nuclear facilities in Iran can throw them five years backward, and a repetition would become a major Iranian worry. On the spectrum of military actions, this would be closer to the raid that killed Osama bin Laden than to the invasion of Iraq. The possibility should not be rhetorically holstered. It may, finally, later down the stream be the only language Iran understands...."

Re: ISRAEL-GAZA 50-Day War
Statement by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the proposed framework for a deal with Iran:
"I just came from a meeting of the Israeli cabinet. We discussed the proposed framework for a deal with Iran.
The cabinet is united in strongly opposing the proposed deal.
This deal would pose a grave danger to the region and to the world and would threaten the very survival of the State of Israel.
The deal would not shut down a single nuclear facility in Iran, would not destroy a single centrifuge in Iran and will not stop R&D on Iran's advanced centrifuges.
On the contrary. The deal would legitimize Iran's illegal nuclear program. It would leave Iran with a vast nuclear infrastructure. A vast nuclear infrastructure remains in place.
The deal would lift sanctions almost immediately and this at the very time that Iran is stepping up its aggression and terror in the region and beyond the region.
In a few years, the deal would remove the restrictions on Iran's nuclear program, enabling Iran to have a massive enrichment capacity that it could use to produce many nuclear bombs within a matter of months.
The deal would greatly bolster Iran's economy. It would give Iran thereby tremendous means to propel its aggression and terrorism throughout the Middle East.
Such a deal does not block Iran's path to the bomb.
Such a deal paves Iran's path to the bomb.
And it might very well spark a nuclear arms race throughout the Middle East and it would greatly increase the risks of terrible war.
Now, some say that the only alternative to this bad deal is war.
That's not true.
There is a third alternative – standing firm, increasing the pressure on Iran until a good deal is achieved.
And finally let me say one more thing.
Iran is a regime that openly calls for Israel's destruction and openly and actively works towards that end.
Just two days ago, in the midst of the negotiations in Lausanne, the commander of the Basij security forces in Iran said this: "The destruction of Israel is non-negotiable."
Well, I want to make clear to all. The survival of Israel is non-negotiable.
Israel will not accept an agreement which allows a country that vows to annihilate us to develop nuclear weapons, period.
In addition, Israel demands that any final agreement with Iran will include a clear and unambiguous Iranian recognition of Israel's right to exist."

Also, just to clear the waters, I don't give two fucks about the government of Iran and the ideology of all Islamic sects is insane. I just might be one of the few guys around that doesn't want to see mass death occur to Persia. The guys my age, I'm 28, who live there are liberal, open arms, and just want to enjoy life like the rest of us.

Who breeds for terrorists? Iran or Saudi.

Either way, I'm not denying Iran needs a revolution.
