Look , getting attacked is not the main issue here?

It's the result of what predators do once there numbers are too high !

Wolves pose the same problem , " they decimate the game population "

They literally hunt it out !

Predators must be hunted , I'm sorry everything can't be a Disney movie guys
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 18761706

It doesn't even matter because retards already one , just look at the result

Nothing I said on this thread even matters , the war is already lost

I hope the lions and wolves rise up and eat all the retards!

Re: mountain lion watches school kids for hours
My grandmother grew up in the hills of Arkansasway back in the 30s. Her brother was attacked by a bobcat with rabies. It was in his barn loft and jumped on his back. He choked it to death in a struggle for life and death. By then they had a shot for rabies and lived, but received a shit ton of stitches.

My grandmother told of seeing them up in trees ready to pounce on whatever happened along. She said that her daddy pounded it in her head that if she ever heard one scream up close to quickly jump as far as she could because they scream right before they pounce.

wow. We have some pretty good sized ones around here, the locals don't like them one bit.

I just watched a documentary about Mountain Lions, and it showed how they are loosing their fear of humans, due a Canine disease they contracted from either dogs or racoons...

They need to be hunted, to bring their population back down..

Here is the idiocy of the environmentalists whackjobs; They save the lions from population control and destroy the population of the deer by doing so.

Bottom line...environmentalists are fucking retarded.

22,000 deer per week are slaughtered by lions. 22,000! You know how many families that could feed?

here, there are too many deer because they don't let them kill enough.

it's been alleged many fish and game departments are releasing big cats. In MI and IL. there has been a few almost local confirmed sightings

Boris, these guys don't seem to get it.

They seem to believe that people are required to keep nature in balance - as if nature can't handle itself.

I even posted the stats on cougar attacks in California - despite the high number of cats, they aren't going after people.

Unlike humans, who feel the need to kill other creatures simply for existing and having the potential to be deadly, these cats have learned to coexist alongside us and have very VERY rarely posed any threat to human beings.

Why?

Simply for existing?

The cat didn't hurt anyone or anything.

You are advocating the killing of sentient creatures simply for existing in such a way that makes you slightly nervous - do you realize how insane that is??

Like I said before, children are far FAR more likely to be mauled by the family dog than by a big cat and we don't go around culling the family pet population every time a child is bitten.

It's absurd to advocate killing these cats just because they're making people antsy.

I get you, but your previous post about them needing to be reduced in numbers because "laying around cities in the daytime" indicates that you'd like to see their numbers reduced simply because they are getting bolder and venturing out a little.

If you're advocating that we go out and kill these cats - cats who have no real history of attacking humans (I mean, come on, the rarity of attacks given the population density in the area and the number of cats pretty much speaks for itself) - just because they are SEEN in the city in daylight, that seems extreme to me.

All they are doing is existing, they aren't attacking - they are diligently trying to coexist.

If they have have no qualms about hanging around humans in day light they are more than likely habituated to humans.
