"Papal" is not "Christianity",
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 59415373 oh yes it was up until the reformation by Martin Luther protestantism is only 400 yrs old before that there was only papal christianity if you were a christian 500 yrs ago, you would have been only catholic and just fyi the reformist Martin Luther who created Protestantism was an ordained Catholic Priest The catholic church was created February 313 AD with the Edict of Milan, when suddenly all the Christian churches in Rome were legalized and began consolidating into what become known as the Roman catholic church, a centrist State church. It very soon adopted many pagan rituals thanks to the tireless efforts of Constantine to unite Christians and pagans, and they renamed old pagan gods' roles as saints with the same roles. It ceased it's original doctrines of pure Christianity and became a pagan-hybrid. It is more old Roman paganism with a fake Christian face now more than anything else, I think.
