POLL: Have you ever read the Qur'an?
 Yes
 No
 Blank (View Results)

Just curious if any of you have read it.
I've read it twice.

First time was to see if my defense of Muslims was justified - as a long time ago, before I really knew many Muslims, I defended them because to me they seemed like victims of the 9/11 false flag.

Second time I read it was to make sure I read and understood it correctly the first time...because the first time, I found it to be complete and utter nonsense with a heaping dose of evil, written for people with a 1st grade education...which confused me since all the professors and media whores and politicians said it had redeeming qualities at least - if not a direct connection to God (or Allah) - and should be respected and honored. So...I read it again...
And guess what?
After finishing it the second time, I decided to convert...
...it's pages into rolling papers. They work really well.

Islam is evil and it's main book, the Qur'an, is a repetitive, illogical, unsupported, evil book for people with IQ's lower than potato who do not appreciate detail, logic, nor love.

The writing style is often confusing and very repetitive as you say.

I don't get the hype at all. The Quran needs proper literary criticism.

I give it 2 out of 5 stars. hidb

actually, the Quran is an apocriphical christian text.
it has all marks of a gnostic text and even quotes some of them.
Muhammad had a christian teacher...

so if you tolerate or even worship christian literature, you should relate to the Quran.

if you are only interested in spirituality, then the Quran is as interesting as any christian text.

if you are not interested in any religion, then why bother reading it at all?

so, make up your mind. you cannot see the NT and the Quran as two oposing texts, because they are not, they only seem as such because of the politics and because of the Constantin's reduction of holly christian books...

so either you love them both or you hate them both, you cannot choose only one of them, because then you get trapped in the hell of fanaticism...

so, it is your choice, but you can only choose both or noone...

Good one OP! I tried to read it straight through at one point and it absolutely revolted me almost threw it out but kept it on a shelf for reference if I needed it. As the years have past I have ended up reviewing it in pieces to completion but its really hard to take. The evil and hatred at some points is just too much.

Re: Have you ever read the Qur'an? [POLL]
I'm thinking about reading it but I'll have to check it out from the library. I have to ask my husband first though because I don't want him to catch me with it in my hands and him rip it to shreds since it will belong to the library.
When you find a piece of shit along side the road and you poke it with a stick, what do you expect to find inside of it, gold?
No, it's just going to stink more.

I read some of it, then I realized that it's inspired, not by the Father, but the destroyer.

I didn't burn it, we used it paper machee

He burned a bible that someone gave me but after I read it already. It's written in his heart, all the stuff in the bible but he thinks that I go a little crazy and obsessive when I read ancient books. He just hates religion, he thinks it's for bad people that need to be controlled.

Re: Have you ever read the Qur'an? [POLL]
actually, the Quran is an apocriphical christian text.
it has all marks of a gnostic text and even quotes some of them.

Wow your reading skills are awesome " you can not see the new testament and Koran as two opposing texts " that is really one of the biggest lies I have heard I awhile ,thekoran is absolutely 100% the antithesis of the bible , the only thing the Koran has in common with the bible is that it fulfills the Antichrists plan laid out in the bible , it , the Koran is of Satan .

Re: Have you ever read the Qur'an? [POLL]
what an asshole.
i love ancient books, although i m not a partucular fan of either the quran and the bible though, for there are much better and more interesting ancient books, but i would never burn a book, unless it is some valueless modern brainwash material.

also, ancient books help people understand different mentalities. i would hate to be an idiot who would know nothing about people in foreign lands and cultures, beign dependant on the mainstream media for being disinformed and brainwashed

I can see how most people would think he's an asshole. But he's a righteous asshole.

He's not ignorant, he was fighting against the Mujahideen in a Balkan war. He volunteered to fight them while everyone else was hiding and afraid of getting their hands dirty. But then the American's stopped funding them and the war stopped, they almost killed my husband.
