It is not necessary to drive to the office to shuffle papers and read emails. Many jobs can be done from home or in satellite offices. Yes we need hospitals and factories, but many jobs can be redesigned to allow telecommuting. Kids sports should be on neighbourhood teams, or outside their homes. Fast food is not necessary if we're not driving all the time. People are getting fatter and fatter and sick from driving. Gas rationing would be a terrible and painful thing. I think people will lose it if that happens. Road rage us already bad enough, and this might put people over the edge. I think Obama will not allow rationing, or prices to go up too high to crash the economy. Truth is we need to rethink our economy, and now is a good time to do that. ruser |

I've done a quick search to try to find more information but came up with nothing. Has anyone else heard about this? Quoting: Oengus The paper was the covington news in Georgia. Edit: Forgot to add the article states this is permanent. We have natural gas trucks, not worried. |
