BS. It is NOT common for other South Americans to yell puto. The puto yell is purely and uniquely Mexican. I was in Tijuana watching the Xolos against a Brazilian team last year and all the Brazilians were like, "WTF are they yelling for?"

The worst part about puto is that it has been adopted by fans in Major League Soccer. Instead of yelling "puto," they yell "you suck ass!" It's embarrassing and stupid. Of all the things to take from another culture, idiot MLS fans choose "puto" from Mexico. Just stupid.
