Obama-appointed judge: Border fence is racist against Mexicans

A Homeland Security initiative to put fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border could discriminate against minorities, according to an Obama-appointed federal judge [Beryl Howell] who’s ruled that the congressionally-approved project may have a “disparate impact on lower-income minority communities.”


This of course means that protecting the porous—and increasingly violent—southern border is politically incorrect. At least that’s what the public college professor at the center of the case is working to prove and this month she got help from a sympathetic federal judge. 


Denise Gilman, a clinical professor at the taxpayer-funded University of Texas-Austin, is researching the “human rights impact” of erecting a barrier to protect the U.S. from terrorists, illegal immigrants, drug traffickers and other serious threats.


Violent crime in the region has been well documented with heavily armed Mexican drug cartels taking over chunks of land that serve as routes to move cargo north.


In fact, a few years ago a State Department report exposed a “dramatic increase in violence” along the Mexican border and warned of “violent attacks and persistent security concerns” in the area.


The document also lists tens of thousands of narcotics-related murders attributed to sophisticated and heavily armed drug cartels competing with each other for trafficking routes into the U.S.

Anyone ever consider that this judge and his/her family has been threatened by Mexican interests (gov't, cartels, etc.)? Just doesn't seem logical otherwise.

Several years ago I ran a commercial skylight installation company(during the Bush administration) and hired mainly illegals for the labor.
Was I afraid of the authorities? No. And here is why.

The IRS sent us a letter explaining that all of our undocumented workers still need to have taxes taken out of their wages. To do this, the IRS actually sent a list of fake SS#'s with instructions that they are to be used for the illegals. This way, the government gets its share of the pie.

The problem with erecting a wall is not only that it is an antiquated idea (remember the Berlin wall?) but that it will never do any good as long as the US Govt. collaborates with business owners in perpetuating this activity.

Illegal aliens rob taxpayers of their wealth and steal from the already poor in this nation. When will stupid fucks begin to understand that. I assume Chopin rocks doesn't pay taxes or is another welfare leech with out any real understanding of economics, supply and demand, or even just basic sense.

Legal immigration is set up to allow people to come to the United States the way in which it is needed. That is, both orderly and logically. We can't just accept people lacking employable skills and damn sure need to be screening people for criminal backgrounds as well as simply checking their health to assure disease and filth isn't coming into America.

Anyone who doesn't understand this should either leave the country or back up what they say with words and go out and invite the illegal aliens to move in with them.

When will you people realize that God does not interfere with the affairs of humans? He gave us free will, which means it's up to us to clean up the messes we make. Christians sure don't want to take responsibility for anything. God will fix this or that. God will get you. Grow up.
