The closest person would be Cario, who at least stuck his neck out to leak info to the Courant indicating 1) more children were removed from the school than Vance claimed and 2) some of them were taken to Danbury in a police vehicle, not an ambulance.

It's not just Podgorski (R.I.P.) who is gone; his boss Reuben Bradfard resigned suddenly, as did US Atty David Fein. And now a young journalist, Michael Bellmore, is dead only months after he left the New Haven Register to work for Hamden Mayor Scott Jackson. Jackson is the chair of the Sandy Hook Advisory Commission. Bellmore was one of the first reporters on scene in Newtown.

The crucial point of this thread is that the man who suddenly died last week was head of the investigation into sandy hook and is the man (according to want Halbig wrote on the article about him dying) one of the men who have helped Halbig crack the sandy hook crime puzzle so Halbig can get people in court and in jail for what they have done.

He is acclaiming Conn. State Police Major Podgorski. Has given him all the evidence needed to espouse the sandy hook incident as a hoax and that the evidence he gave him is sufficient to take it to court

I went to the Newtown police and asked some questions.....not much they could do to a man near 90......they gave me the big run around and I kept on saying so....gave up when i knew i was talking to a stone wall mentality!

The thing is, Halbig hasn't said anything that others hadn't already said 18 months ago. So I don't buy the theory that a lead investigator is dead after giving Halbig information/theories that had already been posted in GLP within two weeks of the shootings.

Halbig is going to have to provide some kind of novel revelation about Sandy Hook, saying it came from Podgorski, before I can possibly believe Podgorski's death had anything to do with a visit by Halbig (did Halbig actually visit him? When and how?)

Podgorski's death is of concern all on its own--it doesn't have to tie into Halbig. It is especially of concern in light of the resignation of his colleagues, and now the sudden death of a reporter close to the investigation.

BTW, I'm not anti-Halbig. I saw his presentation before the
BOE and thought he and the guys did a good and important job.

The point is that Halbig hasn't said anything shocking or new, to date, that would justify suggesting Podgorski was killed as a result.

No information as to what he got in the meeting with Podoski has been given to anyone , least of all on glp

Look--if Podgorski had really had a change of heart and wanted to get info out, he'd take Cario's route: he'd go to a trusted reporter at the Courant (or equivalent).

No offense to Halbig, but his operation is not going to be the chosen outlet via which someone close to the investigation reveals anything, any more than that person would come to me and say, "Why don't you include my leak in your next GLP post?"

A professional individual, making a professional and life-changing decision, is going to choose a (more) professional outlet.

It's far more likely, in fact, that Podgorski would have considered using someone like Michael Bellmore, whose writing and views on Sandy Hook were considered unusually compassionate, self-critical, and respectful.

I would look hard at Bellmore's death.

It was Yale hospital tactical EMT'S that triaged victims and declared deaths.

It was a Yale Dr. King who gave Adam Lanza a psychiatric evaluation.

I remain skeptical on Halbig's "cracked the case" claim simply because it is my deep conviction that the case will not be cracked anytime soon, and I don't personally believe there is only one case to be cracked.

The tentacles are far too many, and run far too deep, for this to be a one-answer solution.

Also it's not rocket science to figure out if you've got something important that you know that is life threatening, you have alerted others that upon your demise to bring this forward in their behalf.....his life may be in danger but I'm sure if he has anything of any relevance, he has someone to move this forward in case he can't.
