The number 9 is like the Tao. It is contained within all things, and yet is without all things. Everything flows from it, and everything flows back to it. The organizing of this is done by 3 and 6. 3 is the Female aspect. 6 is the Male aspect. 9 is the source aspect. 9 is perfect union, both prior to division into male/female aspects, and after re-merging the male/female aspects
