You really need to watch the movie "Idiocracy" to understand why the population "J-curve" will bring the end of the planet.  That is actually an very underrated, well acted, and smart comedy. Although to the normal person, it just seems like a dumb, full of laughs comedy. Maybe it was too close to the near future... If you have watched the move, which is 8yrs old. Notice whenever anyone is at an ATM, or interactive screen in general, there is big colorful, clip art, block style buttons. Looks familiar? Looks just like Windows 8.  Start at :35 seconds in to see Windows 8 likeness.
