Anyone remember the game Illuminati coming out in 1995 instead of 1982?

My friend, since the Berenstein Bears became the Berenstain Bears, nothing surprise me anymore.

I don't remember the game coming out at all. What does that mean, WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!

Remember when they removed the color "flesh" from Crayola's boxes? Guess the year.

Even though many were not even born to use the crayon, the year stated, per Crayola's site is 1962.

Look, I wasn't in the timeline shift thing so much until now, when I wanted to see the whole set of cards, so I was searching info about the game and it struck me: 1982. What? It was 1995, I can bet my bottom dollar on it.

Man, you are creeping me out... I was born in 1994 and I remember using the color "flesh" as a kid and people talking about how it was racist.

I have the original game and the update that came out in 1987. Still play it once in a while and the game cards still mirror the times we live in today. One card which is intriguing is the post office... a snail dressed like a letter carrier or "snail mail", a term that was still 15 years away.

How a game from 1982 could be so accurate on today's realities?

Yes I recall it came out in the mid 90's like most of the other ccg of that era it got little attention.

It's the only card which had a negative income so I guess the post office was losing money even in 1982!

Regarding the Berenstain Bears, I think I remember that it was "stain" but I'm not 100% sure. I remember that it was odd for me as a kid to see it written that way, I would prefer "stein" rather than "stain".

See, I'm not infallible. I read the comments and I see people who remember both release dates, 1982 and 1995. It seems that there are two "sets of memories" among people.
