I feel the need to stand up for the christians, only because those who constantly bash them are lashing out with diseased souls. There is no need to bash someone's religion unless you are uncomfortable in your own. We are all a part of a greater war, your soul will lead you where you belong. Now with that said, I'm off to go catch some fish and enjoy the evening.

Actually this has always made me laugh.

Christ was not white, yet he always is porteyed with anglo-saxon features.

He was a Jew, so he probably looked like a Jew would now, but with more hardened features, bacause life then was a toil, and his skin would have been like that of a VERY tan white person, with a large hairy beard, as is the custom in the middle east, then and now.

Why is he always portrayed as a white hippy?

It's hypocritical that the image of Jesus is Photoshopped to make it look stupid, but Mohammed the action figure is not mocked or touched by a Photoshop edit.

Yes ... I like that. Do-gooders working out of the lower ego, busy and frantic, seldom accomplish anything of lasting benefit. Genuine "good works" with real impact can only proceed from the spiritual realms. One person in deep prayer/meditation is producing far more postive spiritual enegy and potential than a thousand "active" crusaders working from the emotional level. They are "active" ... but not on the causal levels!

As far as the Jesus emoticon ... IMHO there are just too many emoticons, period ... makes the site seem more like a cartoon for kids instead of a forum for intelligent discussion. I realize that a picture is worth a thousand words, but then again ... the MSM knows people generally can't or don't read ... and they love pictures for the *emotional* impact. I myself am not interested in emphasizing emotions over intellect. Sorry to sound so snooty ...

It's TRUE that alot of you fanatical Christian types will come on here and spew line after line of Bible , and all you succeed in doing is reinforcing your own position.

Do you EVER step outside of what you have been *taught* to be the word of "God" and examine OTHER sources of information...?
Have you ever taken it upon yourself to do an independent inquiry of where alot of the Bible REALLY originated from...?
Or are you just satisfied with being a Parrot ?
