VERY LOUD RUMBLING SOUNDS in Upstate New York! Constantly Repeating
There are incredibly loud rumbling sounds racing across the skies in Washington County, which is located in Upstate New York. The sounds start up low, sounding like a whirling sound of air. The sound increases until it sounds like a roaring jet is overhead. The sound races across the sky going from one end to the other. It lasts at least 20 to thirty seconds. It is definitely not thunder, and doesn't even sound like thunder. Being beside a huge jetliner taking off is what it sounds like.

Maybe it's the Jet Stream dipping low to the ground. The front was and is over you.
Perspective is everything.

Is it a low frequency drone sound?
Like a boom-boom stereo in a Honda?
I'm tired of waiting, somebody push the damn button already!

It started out low, then went to a pretty high frequency. It had a sound of a huge amount of rushing air. The sounds have ceased.

this is the time when the different dimensions are crossing over into each other, it happens every few thousand years .yes their are other worlds that co-mingle with ours. they are much older and far more advanced both spiritually and tecnically, than we are , in fact THEY have made their presence known by downloading aprox 20k sheets of information on to a computer in south africa, which the CIA, has access to.

Re: VERY LOUD RUMBLING SOUNDS in Upstate New York! Constantly Repeating
Ok, This is definitely what must have happened.

COLONIE - A Massachusetts-based Air National Guard wing will fly F-15 fighter planes over the Glens Falls and Lake George areas as part of a training mission on Wednesday.

The 104th Fighter Wing will scramble the two fighter jets between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. as part of an air defense exercise, according to New York's Division of Military and Naval Affairs.

The mission will take place over northeastern New York, southern Vermont and northern Massachusetts.

The air wing is based in Westfield, Mass.

The Division of Military and Naval Affairs says the exercise "is conducted to facilitate training for alert pilots on intercept procedures, ensuring the Massachusetts Air National Guard is prepared to defend the Northeast airspace against any airborne threat."

"These exercises are carefully planned, closely controlled and include exercising airspace restriction violations, hijackings and responding to unknown aircraft. Communities in the mentioned area may experience increased aircraft activity during the duration of this exercise."

I didn't hear anything though, and I record & upload weird noises. I heard a metallic sound right before Sandy hit, and another weird loud noise before a nor'easter hit.

Too bad you didn't take video out the door. Thanks for info though.

Prior to the earthquake that shook the entire east coast in 2012, I had heard loud rumbling for hours. As a matter of fact, everyone was baffled. It sounded like thunder but there wasn't any lightening present.
