It has been so dry ... scary dry.

They closed the National Parks in Sedona yesterday for two reasons. One because of fire risk and two because of monsoons.

North Phoenix here too. The wind is picking up now. The sunset was amazing, the air was tinged orange but the wall wasn't here yet.

Yay! Monsoon season has officially started! Rain, wind and variances in the weather!!! Soooooooo excited.

I just spent about forty-five minutes on my roof taking pics and video (Desert Hills). Incredible.

I can imagine! Here, North Mountain/Moon Valley area we haven't had rain yet...keeping my fingers crossed we get some though. Please send it my way BG. :)

Though was out taking photos and enjoying earlier, heading back out in a few though for wind, rain and hopefully thunder & lightening.

Who knows where I will end up next. My car died at my old apt I used to rent years ago. I was visiting a neighbor.

Now I am getting a van and plan to continue on my journey to nowhere.

Yesterday I was in Sedona on a vortex and rain clouds passed over but no rain. I was hoping for rain. My friend was afraid of the lightening being on a vortex. It was funny.

:) Love it here, the only thing missed is the spring/fall weather in Michigan/Illinois/Missouri.


Once drove through a small tornado as a teen, it looked like regular heavy showers. The chasers tried to stop me, I waved back thinking they were just friendly people...as I was going through it I got a bit worried and got what had and was happening. A few weeks later I ran into one of the guys he gave me a hug and told me how horrified they had been and how relieved after it passed and seeing my car still heading down the road.
