Quoting: nah-T True. The Bible says that satan owns the governments since he offered them to Jesus. So they stay clear of it all including the military. They are not nationalistic which really is another form of religion. There is a lot of things about the JW that I was surprised to find similar to the way I already live my life. But I wouldn't join a cult or anything. The JW girl I knew considered herself a rebel because she wanted to remain a virgin, lol! I thought she was way more rational than the other religious people I was surrounded by. I just didn't understand why she didn't believe God could be a man, or I'm just not sure what she believed about Jesus, she just put her head down when I told her I think he exists as a real person. When you find a piece of shit along side the road and you poke it with a stick, what do you expect to find inside of it, gold? No, it's just going to stink more. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1550123 United States 07/05/2014 07:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1550123 The person who they believe who should head this government is Jesus Christ. This isn't about a secular government. Will Jesus Christ allow Sin? Are we talking about a Totalitarian dictatorship? The Bible says Jesus will set up a government that will last a 1000 years after he destroys this present system run by satan. Then he will hand a perfected people and earth over to his Father. It will be a theocratic government. Let me get this straight. You believe that Jesus wants OWO and he would bring it to earth. So all other religions are run by SATAN and JESUS will prevail with a small number of non sinners and live forever after in the new world paradise where the theocratic ONE Religion will lead us... I'm so glad I can think for myself and on my own.... The Bible says that this is satan's system and that soon Jesus will destroy it and implement his own government earth wide. The Lord's prayer says it all. "...thy kingdom(government) come, they will be done on EARTH as it is in heaven..." This is what is going to happen. |

[link to wol.jw.org] The first thing I looked up was the blood transfusion thing, I had no idea it was biblical. We are against those too, only if the blood comes from our own family. My grandmother died shortly after a blood transfusion, she got cancer almost immediately at 82 and said it was from the strangers blood (she had visions of the people that gave it to her afterwards). She had a blood transfusion many years before that but my dad gave her the blood. She was always against mixing blood, even with people that weren't from our culture. How do the JW keep their bloodlines clean when they get married? They still mix with other cultures since JW are fairly new culture? When you find a piece of shit along side the road and you poke it with a stick, what do you expect to find inside of it, gold? No, it's just going to stink more. |

They come from all races. It is the Bible beliefs which draw them together. |

Is it possible? Who is qualified to rule? Same shit here, just in our language. They are pushing for Antichrist/NWO, and the unwitting followers carry the prints to mailboxes. No, they aren't. The Bible says that Jesus is going to destroy all these governments and this system and bring in his own. There will be nothing left of man's governments. But before that will be the Great Tribulation where many will be mislead. Since Jesus has nothing to do with this system and its governments Jehovah's Witnesses don't either. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 59880767 United States 07/05/2014 08:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am an adult who was raised in the JW's as a child. I am in my late 40's and even though I have been out of the cult for over 30+ years I am still dealing with the trauma they induced. There is no other religion I can point to that is so vile and despicable. I highly suggest that anyone thinking about studying with the JW's do some research before you talk to these people. They will attempt to cut you off from friends and family who are not involved in the faith. They shun those who do not toe the line to their satisfaction. They fill children's heads with terrors of demonic influence at every turn and they cover up sexual abuse in the congregation. They are evil. Take it from someone who escaped the clutches of this cult. They are dangerous! |

I think a lot of their idea's are way more progressive than mainstream religions, I agree with a lot of their beliefs, I think the people are really nice on a personal level. Most people only get to know the side of them at the front door, the only way to interact with them is through work or educational settings because they don't mingle with regular folks much, just within their group. I don't see anything wrong with that, lot's of cultures keep themselves tight knit. I really don't think their world peace thing will ever come into fruition, just because it's not possible on such a grand scale. It's a great dream and I don't think they are bad people, they have high morals and actually live according to them. It's really too bad they get such a bad rap but it's their own fault from isolating themselves so much. When you find a piece of shit along side the road and you poke it with a stick, what do you expect to find inside of it, gold? No, it's just going to stink more. |
