Current Earth's Latitude. Is It Wrong Or Correct?

I think Mafalda gets it right here on that video shot below:

As you can see, the latitude lines are 4
(from the Equator line to the North Pole, which means that every one of it, is 18° degrees from each other. 90/5=18).

See where is Rome in Italy then, just up he 1st latidude line above the equator?
(and so New York as well, so NOT 42° as they are saying).
