They did not rely on a government to take care of them. They asked for no hand-outs. Can you say the same? Quoting: whiteangel The solution is taking control of your life first. If you can't do this, you can't hope to every take back a country. As for you rant and trolling, leave. This thread is for those who want to take control of their lives and be ready for what is coming. Worship satan? As a born again Christian who does not attend a MS church, you have no idea what you are talking about. Instead of quoting an English Kings commissioned version of a book...try quoting the Constitution...Declaration of Independence. Like I said....I will pray for you...but you need to start promoting true Constitutional beliefs. I know for a fact that you will bend over and do whatever you are told...so long as you are being ordered by a Nazi in a uniform. Why is it so hard for people to honor the Constitution? What exactly is your problem? I give up. Leave. You do not have a clue what I will or won't do in a crisis. You do not know what I do or don't have to defend my family. You do not know what kind of training I do or don't have. You spout Bible knowledge yet have a vipers tongue. The Constitution? This thread is to help people prepare. You want to talk Bible and Constitution, move along little puppy. You need to get on your knees and ask your savior for forgiveness and learn to treat others respectfully. God have mercy on your soul if you do not. Being filled with anger and hatefulness only turns people off. Get right with God. Anymore disrespectful posts will be removed. Typical...someone says something you don't like and you immediately want to stifle their speech. Wow.... I know for a fact you have never been to jail. I know for a fact you are not a veteran. I know for a fact that you cant list the Bill of Rights. I know for a fact that you haven't fired a gun in the past five days. I know for a fact that you cannot skin a buck or run a trot line. Just speaking my mind and telling the truth...does that offend you? ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

I have done this for decades...it is fine so long as you boil this water when consuming as a safety precaution. You can also use water stored in milk jugs and run it through a a sand filter with charcoal...this will remove any cooties... Milk jugs are convenient..don't discount them. |

[link to zenwatersystems.com] Zen water filter. I too store water in the 2 liter bottles. and easy way to remember how much bleach you need is think 21. 2 drops per 1 liter. But I then store the bottles in the basement (cool and dark) I was looking for a way to bring the water back to "life" after having boiled it or bleached and stored it for ages and this worked. Makes the water taste great. If you wanted to PURIFY and filter water you should think about buying a Berkey. I then plan on drinking my pool if shit really goes down hill. LOL |

Many have stockpiled much not for themselves. Agreed. Do what you can. Have a Bug-Out-Bag. Some who are in the city and can't move away, rent a small storage unit outside of the city. The put their preps in there and head that way when the stuff hits the fan. Might be something to think about. Buy or make your own dehydrated foods which are much lighter than canned goods. Beans, cook them first, then dehydrate. The cooking time is much less, just need rehydrated with a little warm water. Same with rice, buy cooking it first and then dehydrating you are basically making a Minute Rice. Just add hot water to rehydrate. Keep a good supply of dehydrated goods in your BOB and a personal water filter like this: [link to www.amazon.com] it is good for 100,000 gallons. This should have enough water and food for 3 days. A change of clothes Several pair of socks - you much protect your feet in case you have to hoof it. Several pair of underwear First Aid kit - include medications you take Small sewing kit Toothbrush and paste Brush, comb, hair ties Personal water filter Small pot to cook or boil water Map & atlas Compass - learn how to use it Fire starting kit with matches, lighters, strike fire starter like this [link to www.amazon.com] you also want items to make a quick fire with, like cotton balls dipped in petroleum jelly, or birthday candles that are left over from the cake - these are great to put in your fire pit, light the candle and your fire starts quickly, lint from your drier also works well. Keep all fire making supplies double packed in re-closeable baggies or make a small Mylar baggie and seal. Flashlight - preferably LED Wind-up emergency battery that does also use batteries Rain Poncho - doubles as a shelter Large plastic garbage bags - can also use to make shelter Can opener Duct tape Length of rope or cordage like 550 paracord Good strong knife Spork Remember, you will be carrying your Bob and it will quickly get heavy. Keep it as light as possible. Your children will not be able to carry the same as you can. Be prepared to carry a lot of their food and water. Add a few small favorite toys.
