Seeing the bigger picture. It's scarier than you think. "Disgusting" teen hunter. You're the problem and don't realize it.
From the "Oh so courageous" AC:

This fucking thread: Thread: Teenage hunter under fire for posing with dead animals on Facebook - SHE IS DISGUSTING

I was very surprised by the reaction to this thread. An overwhelming amount of hatred for the teen hunter who killed the "pretty, pretty" animals. Well, fuck you people.

1, it's legal hunting. 2, it provides income for countries that need it. 3, she has every right to pursue her passion and one that is part of her families. 4, there actually is a great deal of conservation to culling populations of animals in certain areas (every seen New Jersey deer populations?) 5, she did not kill one endangered animal. 6, she helped feed local populations by allowing the animals to be used as food. 7, You are all retards for not supporting her.

What you fucksticks are missing is simply this. When we as a forum, GLP, feel like our 2nd Amendment right is being threatened or challenged, we almost always (a few shills and trolls aside) step to the plate in showing support and protecting our right to firearms ownership. 99.9% have never done anything wrong with a firearms, never been convicted of a crime that prevents ownership and use best practices for teaching our children to use and respect them.

What you are missing is this. Through every gun debate we have ever had, the one standard that remains that the libtards have never been able to defeat, when they make claims that the 2nd is out-dated, that we should only have muskets, that we should not be permitted to own "assault weapons" is that guns are useful in hunting.

What did they manage to do with this argument? They made the last remnant of gun ownership "Disgusting" as the fucking AC stated. (More fucking shilldom and I do admit superior trolling, btw.) They have now found a way to make the hunter the same as the mall shooter and most of you fucking retards lapped it up. Wake up morons. You're playing into their hands.

Hunting provides food. Hunting provides life experience. Hunting provides needed skills, that lets face it, most of you assclowns wish you had. You make all your talk about "bring in the tomato plants" or "survival skills for the coming apocalypse" but I'd take this one 19 year old chick at my side in any situation that my life counts on next to any one of you dicks who are upset that she killed some big animals.

THANK YOU.

When I saw the original post, I thought it was nonsense trolling. It's like saying fishing or gardening is disgusting; did all our survivalists go vegan? wtf.

5* ; thank you. Felt like I was taking crazy pills.

Unbelievable stupid post. Arrogant too.
1. This girl would be useless when tshtf. Daddy pays for everything...you think she didn't have guides?? She would be one of the first to die. Hunting really doesn't take that much skill...especially because those animals didn't know they were being hunted. Put her in an arena with that leapord who can see her and see what happens.
2. Animal populations are only screwed up because humans are encroaching, and killing. You think nature didn't have balance before us humans got here?
3. Ok, she's passionate about killing living beings. That's called sociopathic. Only another f-ed up person would think that's a good thing.
4. Your rant about liberals wanting all guns banned is stupid. Only stupid people label themselves either one way or another. I have many liberal tendancies, and many conservative ones. It's not about fucking party lines. You know as well as i do that if a major gun grab were attempted, a revolution would result. All the "liberals" i know have guns, and they'd fight if it came to it.

Bottom line is this. You need to open your eyes. Your labels mean nothing, and only serve to keep you deluded. Killing is killing, and should only be done in the direst of situations.

Thank you for bringing up another of the common views held by those with lower iq...that hunting is noble, a birthright, and anyone who says otherwise is a "commie" (see the labels again!?!) and pussified.
hunting is merely a food source. If people would go out, find the weakest "game"animal they could, and took it, then brought it home without all the machismo and ego, those of us who see the bigger picture probably wouldn't say much. But you low iq type can't do it without your ego, without making it all about you conquering nature or some shit. Not to mention, y'all consistently go after the biggest healthiest animals you csn find, so you get your trophy ... because we know that's what it's really about. And you know what that's called?
An inferiority complex. Hunters get together and talk about who got the biggest one...and it's so sad. Trying to make yourselves feel better about your lives by taking other lives. Claiming your superiority because you can kill animals.
that's cowardice though. Go kill your deer or whatever, give thanks to nature, and treat it in your consciousness like bringing home groceries. Keep your inferiority complex and ego out of it.
That would be noble, for once.

The second Amendment is there to protect you from PEOPLE who will criminally harm you and your family.

It is not there for you to shoot defenseless animals who have done you NO harm and only want to left alone.

Believe it or not, lots of people who support the 2nd Amendment cringe when assholes like this girls shoot and kill defenseless animals, many that are endangered species, for no better reason than it makes her feel good.

It makes all gun owners look like shit to the public and it hurts our cause.

You sure you're not the one with a superiority complex? I'm no labeling labels or naming names here - as you seem to really hate (and then do yourself). I'm just wondering.

I do love how you whitewash everything and everyone - labeled "Hunters" in this case (see what you did there?) - as if all hunters are big game experts you see on television or sports outdoors shops. I'm guessing your poll of hunters is wide and varied, though, and you have tons of experience since you said it's easy.

Also, I seem to remember it being legal and folks being able to buy licenses for hunting; weird how that works.

If you've got a moral problem with it - and it seems you do since "Killing is killing" - then just come out and say it. I don't want to put labels anywhere, but you sound a bit like a vegan. And that's fine, but not everyone is a vegan and not everyone wants to eat grass and tofu all their life; sorry. Just like not everyone goes out and rubs one out killing a deer or catching a fish and drags the damn thing back on his/her shoulders screaming "I AM KILL NATURES."

Speaking of - are you against fishing, too? Does fishing disgust and enrage you? I mean, really... "Killing is killing" right?

Re: Seeing the bigger picture. It's scarier than you think. "Disgusting" teen hunter. You're the problem and don't realize it.
Wolves, bears, coyotes and bobcats, hawks, owls and eagles used to provide the balance between prey and predator. Civilization cut their numbers, even eliminating some of them entirely. Hunters provide the balance now.

Hunters do more to maintain deer herds than any tree-hugging liberals. The fees for hunting licenses are used to finance wildlife management in the states. All animal lovers could buy hunting licenses if they want to help fund the management of our wildlife.
As long as the hunter doesn't waste the game and makes clean, humane kills, I see no reason to interfere.

Back in the 70's a flood in the Everglades caused starvation and misery in the deer herd there. There was no place for them to get out of the water, or to forage. At first, the libbos paid to relocate them. The process was so slow an inneffective, thousands of deer starved to death.
While they starved, hunters offered to go in and harvest them, but the libs said no.

It is an American right to hunt for food, for sport and for control of herds.
As long as laws are obeyed, it is a good thing.

So, you think she's gonna eat that beautiful big cat she killed?

I agree that sometimes when a species is overpopulated we need to cull the herd so the majority won't suffer, I get that.

What I don't get is the killing of big cats, or hunting for 'sport'.

If you need to hunt to feed yourself or your family fine, but hunting just for the sake of killing something is wrong. Hunting so you can have a picture of yourself smiling over the dead body of an innocent creature is fuckin' creepy & sick.

You may be surprised to know that I don't approve entirely of big predator hunting. That said, the girl paid a munificent fee to get a license to take a big cat, and that money is used to buy the game wardens gear and payroll.

I also detest bow hunting, since better weapons are available that kill more humanely.

First of all, a hunter is a hunter. There is no "kind of a hunter." You either do (or have), or don't, and never have. That label is like calling a blender a blender. It is what it is, and carries no extra connotations. When i spoke of labels before, i was meaning words with potentially wide and personal definitions...like libtard, religitard, commiefag...that type of thing. Didn't think I'd have to explain that, my apologies for not being clearer the first time.
Secondly, i have photographed many animals, some potentially dangerous (like moose and bear) up close. It's even easier when you're 250yds away...shooting an animal with a gun is pretty much the same.
Third, human laws mean nothing. They are a joke. In my area, for every "decent" hunter, there are two that tresspass and poach without hesitation. It's quite remarkable that you even bring up human laws, considering the ilk of most GLPers. That's not a putdown. I'm just saying we're all watching the "law" get broken every day, by those who write them. Unfortunately, there is a striking similarity between a human hunter and animal prey anf human government and governed population ...wouldn't you say?
Fourth, i am a vegetarian, not vegan. Your cliche attitude about the food choices we have is very telling. I suspect you are actually smarter than that statement, but it was too ingrained in you to not say it...it's ok though. Almost humorous.
Last, i don't fish, and to me, yes, it's the same as hunting. Not really sure why people think it's not...they have nerves, a brain, eyes, mouth...everything needed for cognition. And i know even you are aware of the sad state of ocean fisheries...and the pollution level of streams and rivers everywhere. We have fucked up their world too, just like what we're doing to our own ...which isn't ours anyway. We share this planet with all creatures.
i am not totally opposed to hunting, if it's done without ego. But i have yet to meet a hunter that hunts without it...and i live in the most red state in the nation. I know many. They are not bad people. But they are pretty ungrateful for the lives they take.
if you are truly grateful, and hunt without ego, than please, teach others to do it the same.

The fact that she is happy about murdering an animal which was defenseless is sickening.

One day in the not-too-distant future we will be able to judge exactly how brilliant these animals are. We will be judged severely for their murder.

It is sad that she was raised believing it was fine to load a gun and kill beautiful creatures with no justification.

There is a price for everything. She is just ignorant.

The good news is it's all going to go away quite soon and you will be utterly helpless. No McDonald's for you... starvation to follow.

Please explain why you think that. I truly want to hear. Btw, if you honestly think i eat at mcdonalds...no. wouldn't ever touch it. And i am ready and waiting for it "all to go away". Would like it to happen actually, getting tired of waiting...i very much doubt you are as prepared as i am. But this is an internet forum, no point going back and forth about it.

I appreciate the reply and absolutely see the points you make; hell, I agree with most of them, honestly. The whole vein follows: "Most humans fuck up and are shit to the planet."

My dad took me hunting at a very young age until I got bored of it. On these excursions I didn't even have a gun and mostly slept (I fell asleep under a tree stand one year, right through the gun firing and everything).

It was mostly the point of view you have until I watched my grandpa hunt. He'd use everything - every bit, every piece imaginable with nothing wasted. He lived in a small town and got his license every year, pack up the meat and didn't have to worry about meat until next year. He grew up during the Depression, though, so attitudes definitely have changed.

My point, though, is that it can be done responsibly. Absolutely there's poachers and idiocy... but, is there an alternative suggestion? Should we ban hunting outright? I'm being serious and appreciate your input - it's not really a black and white issue (which is what I took issue with originally ;p)

And, yes, that was my jab at vegans. Sorry. I decided it was fair to take a jab at hunters "ME KILL" and then at vegans. Nothin' against either :)

I appreciate your response as well. I know you are a smart person, and your summary of the posts was accurate. Do i think it can be done responsibly?? Idk. Humans are too shady in general. Our paradig.paradigm must change from human centered to all creation centered. At that point, I'm not sure anybody would do it...but that's neither here nor there. No, it shouldn't be banned. But there should be much more law enforcement officers available to patrol the forest and catch poachers and the like. There should be huge reserves of land, billions of acres, set aside for animals where no armed man can enter. And patrol it, and enforce it. No human incursion except on foot. I am all about giving animals more protected space, so they can be themselves and not worry about us. It also protects the land itself, equally important.
big topic really. I'm glad you had someone like your granpa to learn from. Attitudes have definitely changed...think your grandpa would support this kendall girl?? Doubt it ...

Re: Seeing the bigger picture. It's scarier than you think. "Disgusting" teen hunter. You're the problem and don't realize it.

Setting aside land and letting them just be would be great, but you and I know it's Utopian. We do have conservation areas, but you're absolutely right - not well patrolled or even maintained in some cases. You also have to think about it globally; temperate zones, migration, etc, etc, et al. It'd be a daunting process and if so much would be set aside - worldwide - it wouldn't be cohabiting. Humans take up space and it's ridiculous. A good start, though, is supporting local conservation areas - hell, even volunteering if you got time.

The problems we have here in the midwest, though, seem to stem from private land as well. We've got farmers with who knows how many acres and some of it backwoods... Police try and sometimes succeed, but it's still a problem.

It's a huge problem in Midwest America... you've got critters everywhere and people everywhere. As long as people are following rules and regulations - ones that meet scientific and researched standards - I don't see a problem. I don't take part, but if my wife wants to get a license and get a deer 'cause we're hungry... well, I'll eat it without shame.

And it kinda goes with the same on this story. I reread it, but didn't go too deep, though... and have to use the same argument and think my grandpa would agree - as long as it's within regulations (again, scientific and research backed) and they actually are using every bit for skinners/food/trade for the locals... *shrug*

The problem is that I don't feel like diving into Zimbabwe laws and regulations, plus it's also assuming that their "release" is completely true. But, my grandpa was a Pastor and a firm believer in Capitalism, so if they are truly helping the poor at the expense of the rich... well, as long as everything's lawful. The problem with the area, I believe, is unlawful poaching. But, I would argue that the money spent for such expeditions would (hopefully, in a perfect world) also contribute toward stopping poachers.

I can see, though, why folks would be apathetic toward nature - we've paved over most stuff and shoved 'em out. We really should buff up our conservation lands and stop glorifying it so much is really all I can think of..

THANK YOU.

When I saw the original post, I thought it was nonsense trolling. It's like saying fishing or gardening is disgusting; did all our survivalists go vegan? wtf.

5* ; thank you. Felt like I was taking crazy pills.
