I've never met a Brit or a Canadian who didn't Thank God for their free health care. It might not be perfect but it won't bust you into life long debt and struggle. That alone is a matter of stress relief. Better to die maybe than fear destitution. eh? The reality in the US is that the blue states have to support the red states because that's where the poor live and where toxic dumping is allowed (so their brains are compromised). Mentioning no guns, maybe the OP is talking about Great Briton, less so than say, Switzerland where everybody has an assault rifle... so I believe that he should travel, if he isn't afraid or too poor, maybe say to the lake district in England where he can hike the hills and have conversations with regular people. People aren't fleeing countries in South America because of single payer healthcare.

On top of that, Africans are fleeing into Europe, which all has government run healthcare (and healthier citizens on average than the US).

I'm not sure why Americans are obsessed with health insurance, but that unrelated to why people are flooding across the Mexican border.

And those are also the states most reliant on government subsidies. Funny house anti-government politicians are taking more than their fare share of tax money. Huh.
