why do humans keep thinking satan is someone real and is controlling humanity biggest coverup lies within this stories of ancient times

But how can God get this point across to people who are born into the world with no knowledge or understanding? He could have preprogrammed us to behave only according to harmless predetermined instincts. But then we would be mere automatons, having no choices, no individuality, no character.

Such existence is not what God intends for us. He has created us to become members of His own family—His sons and daughters (2 Corinthians:6:18)—able to bear great responsibilities within His family.

At the beginning of human existence God stated His purpose for us: "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.' So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (Genesis:1:26-27

).

God created mankind to be like Him, to rule—have dominion—over His creation. To learn to properly exercise such a level of responsibility, man must first learn how to discern right from wrong, good from bad, and the wise from the foolish. Learning real wisdom involves learning how to make wise choices. From the beginning God pointed out the right way, but He allowed human beings to be exposed to and make foolish choices.

Even Satan acknowledges Gods divinity, however, as one of God's men, perhaps he is greater because he is the real creator of everything (including heaven) and he bothers to help people better themselves whereas God encourages evil behavior. God's only creation seems to be man and (thus) earth.

did you even read what I wrote? It's a false belief that satan is evil. It's a excuse god made so he could watch satan be tortured by humanity, even though satan showed that he loved humanity more. Maybe god is jealous.

Read the bible, god kills millions and satan only kills one person (after god commands him to kill him). Satan was cast down after god tried to change the constitution in heaven and satan tried to protect it. Remind me which one is the bad guy?

No. God did not make the heavens, satan did. Nowhere in the bible does it say god made space and the heavens. It was dark in the beginning, because god had finally silenced and killed satan and everyone else, which was his purpose. You can even go as far to say that god is just the big bang because satans power became too great for satan to control.

And I don't hassel god about why he doesn't care about satan. However, unlike god, i am human enough to care for satan's wellbeing.

If you read Job carefully, Job says he is god. So we are talking about God's family. God's family is the royal family, and they, only some are dead because of wear and tear because satan didn't have enough power because he himself was dead.

It seems like the rampant, blatant and mostly old-fashioned beliefs about god reigning over the earth and bringing good to peoples heart are pretentious and deluded drivel masking people's own desire for rule or influence over the people.

First of all, it doesn't matter what we think, it matters what is true.

How do we know what is true? God gave us the inspired word of the bible.

Others have mentioned Job. Job happens to be my favorite book of the bible. It is also said to be the first book of the bible that was written.

In Job God asks satan, so satan what have you been up to? Satan answers, well just wandering here and there on the earth. God asks satan, have you considered my servant Job?

God felt that Job was beyond reproach but more importantly it seems to me that God and satan are working together. God gives parameters to satan and satan acts according to those parameters.

It does not seem as though God and satan are on opposites sides in this book, it seems more like the good cop bad cop scenario.

Lastly, satan has control of this earth right now. God gave it to him. Anything you find wrong in this world at this time can be directly referred to satan. That's why satan said he would give Jesus the whole world if He would just bow down and worship him.

All true, but this control is only temporary. Just like Satan being dark, cannot exist in the presence of light.

It's all about humans being the pawns, the battlefield.

God has a global sin meter. That critical level has yet to be breached, and Satan's role is to help breach that level.

Once that level is breached, humans cannot excuse themselves anymore, and God will act.

That is still years from now. If you think things are bad now, wait a little more, and it will get worse.

Humans are going from bad to worse.

I believe you just have to acknowledge the existence of good and evil.

It's actually pretty hard to deny now a days.

Evil is fun. It's enticing. It's celebrity, fame and fortune. It's always a good time, even though it's usually at the expense of others.

It also never, ever ends well.

Revelation tells us how bad it's going to get and unfortunately it is going to get really bad. Those who stand with Jesus are making it straight through to heaven which is our only saving grace.

We are not getting what we deserve but we are getting the mercy of God.
