If this event was indeed planned, they'll be feeding the people actual hot meals from base. Even during exercises on base they don't give them away, you have to purchase them at $4.50 a pop. Unless they are feeding the kids the old ones to make room for new ones, maybe. Who knows. Who cares? Nothing anyone can do about this anyways. This isn't a free country. We must play by there rules or GTFO. |

They hand them out in foreign countries they are in, like when we were in Saudi they would just hand them out (not just to the troops). |

I can only speak for Air Force, as I was an Airman. During exercises most people had to purchase them if they wanted one. Of course you'd have to purchase your lunch otherwise, if you weren't on meal card. If we deployed to a bare base they'd issues mre's free until they set up hot meals but my point is they don't like issuing them if they don't have to. I don't see them giving them out to these illegals. |
